I like that place. They welcome you with a nice freshly baked brown bread and butter. I got the poblano cream soup which is very rich and creamy with an excellent pepper kick to it. This is a MUST have when you come here. Main course I tried their ribeye which was really good, and the chicken wasn’t as much honestly. Chicken was juicy, but lacks flavor. Also for some reason, the chicken came cold, which is not ideal. Staff were very friendly. Decor and ambience is excellent.

Well, let's just say my visit to the Texas grill was like waiting for a cactus to grow in real-time! From the moment we stepped in, it felt like a marathon to get to our seats, and the food delivery was like watching a snail race – slow and steady, minus the steady. We ordered two burgers and an appetizer, only to find that the appetizer decided to join the burgers fashionably late, sans tortillas! By the time the tortillas graced us with their presence, the food was on the chilly side of lukewarm. Now, about those burgers, they were just okay. For a place that boasts of its Texas charm, it was more like a Texas fizzle than a sizzle. The fries? Let's just say they were a bit too fond of their icy origins and forgot to crisp up for the occasion. In conclusion, if you're planning a visit, you might want to bring a book or two for the wait, and perhaps lower your expectations on the Texas flair. I think I'll find my Texas spirit elsewhere, thank you very much!

Have been here three times and I can never get enough. The steaks are cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese is amazing. Tres leches is so tasty. Every waiter/waitress we’ve had has been kind and attentive. Love the atmosphere too. The only thing I would ditch is paying extra for a lobster tail.

We booked a reservation for my friend’s birthday. Originally, we were a party of eight, but our group size dropped to four, and the restaurant kindly accommodated the change. However, once we arrived, the friends who had canceled ended up joining us after all. The staff was incredibly gracious and gave us back our original table for eight, which I truly appreciated. We ordered a variety of dishes, we tried all their premium steaks, shrimp skewers, and a lot of asparragus—everything was absolutely delicious. Most of our group is sober, and our server, John, went above and beyond by offering non-alcoholic beer and delightful mocktails, which was a huge plus for us. My friend was also surprised with a birthday dessert complete with a sparkler, which we all loved. John was an outstanding server—professional, patient, and attentive throughout our meal. When we return, we definitely want him as our server again! The only improvement I’d suggest is having dedicated bussers to consistently clear tables, which could further enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is perfect for big groups and offers a lovely setting. Thank you for making my friend’s birthday special!

Was a little weary because of the mixed reviews. However, West Texas Chophouse did not disappoint. I ordered the porterhouse steak medium and it was cooked to perfection. The flavor was delicious with just the right touch of smokiness. The baked potato was really good and the Mac and cheese was great. The ribeye chicharrón had a great combination of steak, guacamole, onions and cilantro. The bread was soft, flavorful and the butter was sweet and delicious. The mixed drinks were nice and strong. We visited on a busy Saturday night and everything arrived hot and fresh. My compliments to our server, the Chefs, management and all of the staff. Will definitely be back.

Food was amazing and the buttermilk chicken with the gravy was to die for 10/10, gravy 10/10 and the vegetable were good 8/10 . Rib eye was great, came out really well to the requested temperature cook. Loaded potato that came with the rib eye was also good 8/10, the bacon was crispy and cheese was melted well. Corn buree was okay 6/10. Chipotle Alfredo pasta with chicken was amazing 9/10, texture was thick yet creamy and pasta was perfect, the chicken was cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was really good, the top was crispy and the rest was fantastic 9.5/10. The waiting lobby has comfy seating and staff was great, I believe our server was Nile and he was incredible 9/10 The scenery was 10/10 and the trees as addition to it is absolutely gorgeous. However the only reason I'm not giving this great place a 5 is because of three reasons. Wait time at the lobby, the unclean menus felt oily, and ended up finding a piece of plastic in my food But overall this place was great and good spot for friend dinners and friend birthday celebrations or even a chophouse date. I suggest giving this place a shot

The food and service were great! the only issue was that the front host was not friendly and unorganized. Will come back and recommend.
