Weso Steakhouse

I made reservations for Valentine’s Day, $90 a plate, automatic 25% gratuity, about a little over $220 total. I did not get what I paid for. Service was super slow, typical people arrived after us were served before us. Tables were super cramped together with little room between, we weren’t given the menu for signature drinks, every time something was brought out they apologized for the wait, the steak had a surplus of fat, no steak knife was given and I was struggling to cut it with a butter knife, I was asked 3 times if I wanted the dessert before they actually brought it out, the dessert advertised a white chocolate dome around the cake, I guess they ran out of white chocolate by the time we got there because I saw others get it but we did not, a couple who came after us actually left after getting the appetizer because they had been waiting so long just for that, and then they tried to charge me an additional $220 when I asked for the drink tab. The building was nice, the food and service did not live up to that of a respected steakhouse.

The bar also had a television showing sports, which I wouldn't have expected. The service was slow with the server often seeming forgetful. The food was good, but not great. The meats were quality and cooked well, but the sides were mediocre at best. The vegetables were dry and undercooked, risotto was bland, the potato was small and over baked, and the caesar salad was less than desirable. All in all this was not the fine dining experience that I had anticipated.

Our server Rodrigo was so kind and helpful. Being my first time I didn’t know what to order and he helped me narrow it down. I was blown away by the dish I cleaned my plate lol. I ordered the black bass the sauce was amazing and the dish was so light and delicious. My husband got the steak and it was so buttery, juicy and savory. We also weren’t expecting anything for the birthday celebration. However, we got surprised with a delicious chocolate cake. The manager Eric also came to check on us and he was very kind. Everything was exceptional, the food and the location was the perfect recipe for an amazing night.

I was surprise when my husband took me for our 13 year anniversary. This place has just the right vibe. Our waiter Sam Absolutely amazing. I ordered the Weso Colada. AMAZING. So milky and creamy! Paired with a perfectly cooked wagyu! Thank you for an amazing dinner!

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and everything was perfect. the servicea, the manager (erick) was extremely kind and our waitress was so nice overall it was such an amazing experience! thank you again!

The food was beyond delicious!!! We celebrated our anniversary and everyone was exceptionally nice. Enrique our server was very attentive and provided a great experience. Definitely recommend.

We visited the restaurant after the Christmas Fair at the Civic Cener and decided to have lunch at Weso. It was a Sunday afternoon and I believe we ordered the wrong dish. The Paella was highly recommended and I was dissappointed in the flavor. It did not have a Wow factor. The tapas were pretty but not mouth watering. The service was excellent and the interior is very nice with several reminders that the menu is Spanish cuisine. I will have to try again and see if maybe another Weso dish will win me over. For now, I am not recommending the food to anyone. A little pricey for the food I tasted.

Came in with my husband for our 3rd wedding Anniversary and the experience was absolutely stunning. Fatima was our server and her education and customer service was superb. Definitely recommended 💯. Love it. Oh and we had managers come to our table and greet us as well. Looking forward to coming again.
