I've eaten at Cattleman's many times and have never been disappointed. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food. The steaks are delicious. I've had the cowboy, the ribeye, the strip, and the filled and all were tender and cooked perfectly. The sides are great.....and save room for dessert. I've always been pleased with the service. The decor inside and the zoo outside just add to the experience.

This is a unique Steakhouse out in the middle of the desert with a lot of history. Service out here is sporadic depending on what service you have. The food overall was good. One of our coworkers lobster was over cooked but the staff credited them for the issue. The steaks are plentiful and good. Jasmine did a great job providing service to us and kept our drinks flowing. Surprisingly we didn't wait at all and was seated right away. There were a lot of people waiting....not sure if they we waiting for special seating or not. Overall good experience and a must visit while in El Paso.

Cattleman's was incredible! I visited from Virginia and was thoroughly impressed. The photo showed just one rib—can you imagine the size of a whole rack?! The flavor was fantastic, and the homemade BBQ sauce was simply divine. I enjoyed the filet mignon, and the ambiance was stunning, with a charming western desert vibe. There are mazes to wander through, walkways around the lake, and plenty of fun spots for photos with statues and carriages.

If you’re near El Paso and looking for a memorable dining experience, Cattleman’s Steakhouse is an absolute must! Located just a 30-minute drive away, this place offers much more than just incredible food. The setting is unique and charming, featuring a small farm with animals like buffalo, llamas, horses, bunnies, and more. You can even feed them, which makes the visit fun for all ages. As for the restaurant, it’s stunning, with a warm and rustic ambiance that sets the tone for an amazing meal. The food? Absolutely delicious! The top sirloin was cooked to perfection, the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the chocolate cake was the perfect sweet ending. Cattleman’s is more than a meal; it’s an experience. Highly recommend it for a fun outing and a great meal!

Fabulous Fabulous, Fabulous! Dining here is never a disappointment. 5 stars-plus for the food--- The 2 lb. T-bone is scrumptious, tender, juicy and big enough to share with your date. Very little fat. Accompanying the meat are bottomless servings of these: hot fluffy rolls, sweet pineapple coleslaw, and Cattleman's famous spicy ranch beans. The baked potato had to be cut in half to share, also. Huge! We skipped desert. Our server, James, is one of best in the biz---fast, courteous, and helpful. Had him twice. The restaurant's old west ranch atmosphere compliments the type of dinner that's served here. Can't say enough. It's worth the long lonely drive miles outside of Fabens/El Paso.

Never knew that movies were filmed at this place. It is definitely a unique experience with interesting Wild West decor. Though not the best steak that we have ever had, the ranch-style beans in the all-you-can eat sides were great and exactly what you would imagine cowboys eating around a fire back in the day. Homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream was amazing and definitely worth saving room for.

This is a must see if you're in El Paso! It's a drive out into the countryside, so leave while it's light out so you can fully enjoy the experience. Quite a few movies were filmed on the site and you are able to walk around and see some of the areas if you're interested. Aside from the unique ambiance, the food was great! We started with the sausage, which was flavorful and just the right amount for us while we waited for dinner. Everyone was pleased with their choices -- the steaks were expertly prepared and surpassed all expectations. The ribs were so tender, falling off the bone. Each meal came with a side and unlimited beans and coleslaw. I typically pass on beans and coleslaw, but these were the exception. The beans were spicy and were so good. The slaw had pineapple in it, which was a unique addition. After all that, we didn't have room for dessert!
