Pelicans has been by far one of my favorite restaurants in El Paso since I was young. It makes me nostalgic because it was my mom's and continues to be my dad's favorite as well. They have always had delicious food and outstanding service. I recently went with friends to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. My salmon was cooked to perfection, as usual, and our server even went out of his way, bringing us a delicious cheese cake (my favorite) with strawberries and a candle singing happy birthday to me. I truly appreciated this. Thank you, Pelicans, for an incredible experience!

Went here for a birthday dinner. Our waitress, Esmerelda, was a delight, and kept track of what we needed effortlessly. The food was as good as I’ve ever found, just wonderful. The bacon-wrapped scallops were exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. 5 stars across the board.

This was our first time here and we were very happy all around . But I did want to mention on our server by the name of Sam. She was super kind, attentive and very helpful in giving us suggestions on what to try out . It was nice and taken note of , due to many young servers being the opposite of this. We appreciate the staff, food, holiday theme and location .

The service is great. The food was amazing!!! Definitely looking forward to trying different dishes next time. The portions are huge we were almost full just off of 2 appetizers. Round 2 - the food once again on point!!! I can't get enough of the sauteed mushrooms.

I went here because of the reviews and stars. The food is fantastic. We ordered 2 appetizers, muscles and calamari. The calamari was long and thick. Not the circular, they are better quality and taste much better than the usual circle kind. The appetizers were amazing. The entrees were- salmon with mushrooms. The salmon was overcooked, but it tasted good. The mushrooms were incredibly flavorful. Fish and chips. The fish was cooked well. Still moist and flaked apart when it was bitten off. Sweet potato fries had a perfect crisp and had a good hint of salt sprinkled on them. Sirloin meal was perfect. The steak was cooked just right and flavored deliciously. The price for lobster was a little high though its lobster. Presentation was lovely and was devoured quickly. The butter comes in a warmer. Made the fancy feel. What is not pictured is the bacon cheese burger with thick french fries. It was requested for the burger to be cooked medium. It didn't come out that way. Definitely well done, but it was still eaten and enjoyed. The kids meal, teriyaki chicken was fantastic. Moist chicken with a burst if pineapple teriyaki flavor. Our waiter was great. Unfortunately I don't remember his name. He was very attentive and explained every detail we asked for. He had to go back to get prices for certain things that were not priced, which is expected. We never had an empty glass and he was constantly checking to make sure we were good. We called prior to arriving when it opened and a table was reserved for us. You do have to walk around with a mask and enter with a mask but while you eat it can be removed. There was no thermometer check for fever as some restaurants do. We sat in the front room surrounded by windows. Only 2 tables were open in that section because of the limited # of capacity during Covid. The restaurant was cool and clean. Plenty of space between the tables. There are a lot of interesting reads along the walls of the restaurant. I can see why they have been recognized for being one of the best. I'd highly recommend for anyone to go. When I return I will definitely treat myself to dessert.

I absolutely love this place. I was hesitant the first time I came here and ordered the charred ribeye, but it was awesome. Every time we're at home deciding where to go eat and this place comes up, we all agree they have the best steak in the city. It doesn't matter what time or what day you come. If you order a medium rare steak, that's what you get. Service is always great, and the food comes out quick. 5 stars all the way. Update to my previous post on December 22nd, 2023 For last-minute dinner plans, we decided to come here. This place was packed. The environment was kinda chaotic, but it's 100% understandable. We were a last-minute reservation, and then when we sat at a table, we asked for a booth. Another group who had asked for a booth didn't like the booth location, so we ended up getting their's. The staff was completely understanding and accommodating. Our server Joey was amazing. There was not a second of my evening that I look3d at my glass and wondered why my glass hadn't been refilled. Yea, the food did take a while to come out, but when it did come, it was as always cooked to perfection. That with great service you don't mind the wait, especially when you know the only reason why it took a little while was because of the overwhelming holiday rush. I still give this place 5 stars. I love this place.
