Corralito Steak House (5800 Doniphan)

Food was amazing. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Server was very friendly but no coke refills were offered, had to ask couple of times for salsa, appetizer came out after main course (only after we asked about it) 2 of 3 bathroom stalls were in horrible condition. Approached hostess and was told she’s aware of the condition but won’t do nothing about it, cleaning lady will take care of everything in the morning. So soap wasn’t going to be refilled, toilet bowl not plunged, or at least not even a sign “out of order” was going to be put on the stall door?!? One toilet was clogged and filled up to the rim with things, other toilet bowl rim was heavily soiled. Only one soap dispenser had some soap. Both antibacterial gel/foam dispensers outside were out.

Came here years ago, and it wasn't good. This time was the complete opposite. Really liked the music. Our waiter Oscar did a great job. On a side note, the water tasted a bit weird but I replaced it with beer 😉

One star for the hostess's bad service and attitude. Despite the restaurant being nowhere near full, we were kept waiting. When we asked to sit at the bar, she curtly claimed it was full. I took a glance and saw only two tables occupied - clearly, there was availability. The hostess's dishonesty, combined with her horrible attitude, made for a terrible start to our dining experience. However, our server Violeta was a breath of fresh air! She was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service. It's clear that the server is an asset to the team, and management should take note of the hostess's poor performance. We're regulars here for a reason! The consistently delicious food keeps us coming back for more.

Our server Daniel did a wonderful job. He was very attentive, friendly yet not overbearing at all. The manager Martin was excellent and checked in with our table and went out of his way to give his a tour of their breakfast buffett for the future. Highly recommend!

I know this review is long but if you don't want the same experience as us PLEASE READ. Me, my mom, and dad when to eat here for lunch for my dad's birthday when we got there the lady in the front told us that there was a wait of 10 -15 minutes but we waited a least 30 minutes then our waitress sat us down at first she was nice we ordered our drinks and appetizer's and then our food that's when our waitress started to get lazy, we told her we needed napkins a least 4 times, and we ask for other stuff to, but it took her 10 minutes to get the things we needed, my mom ordered a salad but there was something in the salad at first she thought it was a frozen piece of lettuce but then she picked it up at it was a piece of plastic but it was not a small piece the plastic was squished up but when we opened it, it covered almost the whole bowl of salad and had the date 11/22 then when our food came 1 hour later my dad ordered taco's, my mom ordered a steak burger with fries, and I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare but they didn't cook it right and it was also burnt on the ends, then my mom ordered ketchup the ketchup the waitress came with a half filled cup and it looked like it was already used then my mom was skeptical about it so then she looked in the ketchup and found stuff in it so then we returned the meal and got something else's also the bathrooms they are not clean, napkins everywhere and in the sink. I would not recommend it here if you want to hangout with your family. NOT RECOMMEND 👎👎😒😒🤢🤢
