I am so upset this was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner. I ordered a medium well steak and it was hard truthfully, so almost looked burnt. My potato had about 5 strands of cheese for a loaded potato it was not so loaded. We ordered a chicken fried chicken and we got a chicken fried steak instead. Our two sides were a loaded potato and a Caesar salad we got an extra side of mashed potato and a random side of fries which we didn’t order. Thankfully, we weren’t charged for it, but that just comes to show the lack of awareness from our server. We had also ordered another strawberry lemonade in which we never got so we just paid the tab and left.

Very friendly and attentive staff, waitress refilled drinks without having to ask, came by several times asking if everything was good. Ceasars salad was a great size for a side, delicious, and had the chicken with lemon garlic. It was delicious. Appetizer was great as well, not ready. It was just right. Staff sings for birthdays and brings a nice size of ice crup. Will definitely be returning.

Good location, friendly attentive staff, off the expressway and limited parking. Food is good and priced accordingly. First time visit. Overall a good experience, with just a minor hiccup: dirty silverware, and a slight foul aroma in the dinning area (could be from unclean carpet), clean restrooms.

Ok, yall, this place. idk. My experience was the worst. Went for a birthday gathering party of 6. Long story short, I think I ordered 2nd to the least difficult dish chicken fried steak. Everyone else ordered ribs, etc. When they brought mine and everyone else's mine was literally cold as if it was sitting on that counter forever because we did wait more than an hour and within that hour our waiter never came to ck on us no refills we always had to flag him down or interup other waitresses or waiters because ours was M.I.A all the time. When I addressed that my meal was cold, not to mention burnt asparagus and very salty and forgot the gravy that goes with it. 🤦♀️I already waited forever on it. So I thought they had fresh ones made and would swap nope! I waited another 20 min by this time everyone had finished and I was the only one not eating.. got my plate complete but by this time I lost my appetite and was already upset because he still hadn't come back and ck on the others. He forgot other items from their orders for my other guests. It was just a huge mess. Brought 1 loaf of bread for 6 people. I was like. Seriosly... oh boy! This was on a sunday afternoon I wouldn't come back tell you this much I'd rather go to the one in weslaco even if I have to drive up there at least things are up to par and no issues. Presintation on food here is fine, but either missing side dishes, burnt items, cold items or needed refills list goes on. You all been open for quite a while before I decided to come in. I figure staff be well trained by now, yet I was wrong. In the end he didn't charge my dish which was good for me yet bad for the longhorn and it's not abt the money it was more abt customer service and it was bad.

When I'm in the mood for a steak, I will usually pick Roadhouse or Longhorn but I prefer Longhorn because I prefer a good crust on my Steak. These guys are consistent! So much so, that I felt confident finally ordering to go with them. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted within a minute (during the lunch rush!) and opted for a Michelob Ultra. The Beer selection on draft isn't the biggest, but honestly neither is Roadhouse. The bar also doesn't have the footprint of let's say a Chili's but was able to find a spot no problem during the rush. I love the Longhorn dining area as it's a more "classic" dimly lit dining area, but the bartop was a little brighter which doesn't feel as "cozy" as most of the more cavern style bar tops which is more only critique. I was regular asked if I was good (which I like) and food came out in a good timeframe for a medium rare ribeye and was even asked if I wanted another beer before leaving. The bartender was on point and friendly and could read that I wasn't a big chatter (I was on headphones streaming a show) while opted to chat with some older couples who visibly enjoyed the interaction. Got home and my food was well packed, correct, and they even included a loaf of their legendary bread without asking. Here's a shot of the great food. Steak perfectly cooked (it continues cooking after packing up, which I understand but still pretty spot on for MR), sautéed mushrooms weren't mushy, and salad was crisp and not soggy. This is more of a review of how their togo execution was, but it was on point.

This time food and timing were a little off...ordered combined plate from Menu and half of it was missing, having to wait for rest of food to arrive; therefore, not the same experience....😢

Sunday dinner with my family is always special. We decided on Longhorn for our cheat meal for the week and our choice did not disappoint one bit! If you haven't tried the newly built Longhorn Steakhouse in our beautiful city, you are missing out. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted ohh so good. My soon to be daughter-in-law had the parmesan crusted chicken breast 😋😋.

Great service. Food was really good for a steakhouse, and they killed it with the western shrimp appetizer. Nice family restaurant.
