This place has excellent food! The service was amazing. The drinks were delicious! The food is an experience, they make the house salsa next to your table, the portions are big enough to share. Great for celebrating a special occasion or just for a nice dinner.

This place exceeded all of our expectations and more. The food was absolutely exquisite, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every detail of the menu was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing impeccable flavor profiles that left us saying “wow” with every bite. The chef, who has traveled extensively across the U.S. and Mexico, has brought an incredible depth of talent to Brownsville. We made the trip from Edinburg, and I only wish we lived closer because it’s easily worth the drive. The bar menu was equally impressive. Our drinks were infused with fresh, high-quality ingredients and tasted phenomenal. Our server, Adolfo, was exceptional, his deep knowledge of the menu and its history brought the entire experience to another level. This was truly some of the best food we’ve ever had, and that’s saying something since we’ve traveled extensively both within and outside the country. Without a doubt, this restaurant has earned a spot in our top three. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent food, service, and experience. They had two different types of tostadas with 5 different salsas and the server prepared another salsa at the table with a blow torch. Tried an Old Fashioned whiskey which had a good caramel flavor which goes well on a cold night. The streak was cooked as requested medium rare served with a garlic sauce. The server offered to slice the steak at the table. The side (potato three ways) paired well with the steak. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert was a large slice which was appreciated. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Never thought we'd have a 5 star restaurant in Brownsville. Everything was delicious and on point. Very authentic but also very creative. Fresh food. Can't go wrong here

My friend and her family brought me here. Definitely a great restaurant, very expensive but great quality. Luckily, not too many people when we visited which allowed us to fully enjoy the place. Food is really good and fresh, though you can’t make any modifications to the foods. Staff are really good about allergies, I am severely lactose intolerant and they made sure on several occasions to help me avoid items with diary. It’s definitely worth trying at least once.

The restaurant was a lot darker and louder than I expected and this could be because we went on a Saturday night. Salsas were amazing and came with a little history behind them that I could not hear over the music. The tostadas that came with them not so much. A lot of them were tough and chewy. The drinks were great! However our second round took so long that our waiter had to apologize twice. I ordered the ribeye medium-rare and received an almost blue-rare steak. I did not send it back but it did end up being cold so I just took it to go. I'm sure the issue would have been corrected had I spoken up but I decided to just eat some of my husband's tacos (bone marrow and ribeye) which were just okay. The staff was really friendly and they made sure no one had any food allergies before ordering. Overall I was disappointed 😔 maybe in the future we'll give them another try.

The service and food were wonderful. They can make salsa st your table side to the heat you want. Everything was cooked perfectly. The first time in my life I enjoyed beets. The octopus was done to perfection. The steak had a light char on the outside and cooked as ordered on the inside.

Definitely one of the more elevated food experiences in Brownsville and while yes, it is pricey, it's definitely worth it if you're looking for an amazing night out! The food was fantastic and every course was better than the last. The only negative comment I have is that they could have bused the tables more frequently, but other than that the service was great! For appetizers, I would recommend the Queso Birria (which was my personal favorite) as well as the Heirloom tomato Burrata. I got the ribeye and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I also got to try the Picanha and the wagu beef tiradito both which were excellent. Will definitely go back and would recommend this place to anyone looking to splurge on and experience!
