Great barbecue restaurant at a great location. I got here right after they opened and they were not busy at all. And I was seated right away. I got the ribs and brisket combo and they were great. The brisket was flavorful and cooked perfectly. And the ribs were also very flavorful and cooked perfectly, and they also had a really flavorful and crunchy glaze on the outside which was great. Overall the service and food were great.

Great bean soup in mugs, pop (soda) tea served straws in small pitchers! Chance to see Longhorn cattle out back too. Food arrived quickly & hot - good BBQ but ribs could have had more meat on them. Overall good experience with visiting friends.

Sliced brisket sandwich was incredibly tender and their bbq was delicious! Service was friendly and fast! Big, beautiful Longhorn cattle out back that you can watch while you wait for your food to arrive!

I don't understand how this place gets busy. I tried again after years of coming, and I've eaten brisket all over the state, and this is the worst! It seems like it's boiled?? No taste and color looks weird. The waiter we had was kinda rude when we asked him about menu items. One of our guest asked for toasted bread and was told they have no way of toasting bread..hmmm! Well, for sure, I'm not coming back!!

The Longhorn Cattle Company is a true, unique Texas dining experience! From the moment you arrive, you'll notice the ample parking and abundance of seating, making it a convenient and comfortable spot for any size group. The experience begins with a unique and delightful touch: unlimited cups of their famous beans, which I can confidently say are the "Best darn beans in Texas!" They set the tone for what’s to come, teasing your taste buds for the main event. And speaking of the main event, the brisket here is cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with that classic smoky flavor that only Texas can deliver. The ribs? Simply amazing. They fall right off the bone, making each bite a melt-in-your-mouth experience. To top it off, the staff at The Longhorn Cattle Company is exceptional. They are attentive, friendly, and add to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend stopping by—you won't be disappointed!

I haven’t been here to the Longhorn Cattle Company in years, but I will say that nothing has changed. It was lunch time and we were greeted and seated quickly, the atmosphere is great along with the food and service. Both my friend and I had the poor boy sandwich, it was the perfect amount of food, not too much and not too little along with the cowboy beans. 👍🏽👍🏻👍🏿. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Pretty good brisket and sausage platter, prices are better than back home too. Drinks are humongous. The pinto beans were excellent, nice and peppery.

First time here. I hate doing bad reviews, but I have to be honest with you all. Not a good experience with the food. Service and atmosphere was great. But the food, sorry to say. It was not good at all. The brisket was so dry. I drank my whole pitcher of water within a few minutes since I don't put sauce on my meat. I then asked for moist brisket and the only thing that was moist was the fat. The brisket was still dry. The brisket tasted as if it was not barbecued. It tasted like it was made in a roaster. Chicken was also dry and overcooked. Sausage was ok, but slightly overcooked and not as juicy. The potato salad was ok. But not to my taste. I tried the sauce, but it was not good at all. I've been to many BBQ Spots from here all the way to North Texas. And unfortunately this is the first BBQ place I had to do a bad review on based on the food itself. The banana pudding was good. Not too bad. But unfortunately the meats were not good. Maybe it was a bad day for the restaurant. But I cannot spend that much money for a plate and have this type of experience.
