There was a big hype about this place, so we went to check it out. It was a HUGE disappointment! The steak was ordered medium rare, and the gorgonzola black pepper was a bit overwhelming. I should have done without. The steak itself was ok at best, but full of fat, so a big portion was wasted. At $72 for a ribeye, I was expecting soo much more and left completely disenchanted. There is no way I would go back. We should have gone to the Big Texan. At least there we know what we're going to get. The wait staff was friendly. The smoked pecan old Fashioned was good, but not great. We should have just gone to Public House. Moral of the story is that if you want good drinks, go downstairs to the speakeasy. If you want a great steak Public House, Saltgrass would be a better choice.

Stopped by this charming Italian steakhouse for lunch, and it did not disappoint! I got the Southwest Chicken Wrap and it was *chef's kiss* Not at all too spicy, chicken grilled to perfection, and wonderfully flavored veggies. Shout out to Jenny for the wonderful recommendation and made sure our table was never without! My husband had the Cobb salad and the lettuce and toppings were so fresh! Can't wait to eat here again when we drive back through!

What a fantastic place to eat! This Italian Steakhouse is an absolute treasure! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Their recommendations were spot on, making our dining experience even more special. The braised beef short rib was cooked to perfection! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quiet date night!

I attended on Valentine's Day, I opted the regular menu as opposed to the Valentine's Menu. I ordered the Center Cut Filet Mignon. I thought the taste was stupendous but I was rather upset at the portion size. For the price of $56 I found it to be rather scanty. It just felt a little unjust for the price. I found the atmosphere to be amazing, I enjoy the venue. Our. waitress was amazing as well. Overall decent experience I think the portion size it was has led me to believe it deserves a 3 star when I was in search of a 5 star.

As always when I do a restaurant "review", I make it clear that I paid for the meal in full and said nothing to anyone in an attempt the get a discount. This is pure: I don't think I've had a more terribly prepared SEVENTY FIVE DOLLAR ribeye ever. Just unacceptable. Not trimmed well, incredibly gristly, served almost cold on a huge mountain of mashed potatoes that were also cold. And there was no marbling. I was pissed. But too tired after a long day of driving to do anything about it. My G&T was served on crushed ice, tasted terrible and was a diluted mess inside 4 minutes. Really bad. The only good thing about the meal was the Chiefs getting beat by the Eagles.

Just had a quick little breakfast while staying in the beautiful Barfield hotel! A lovely woman named Shinette took my order and brought my room service! Room service was plated with actual utensils and did not take a million years to get to me. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, sausage perfectly juicy, and a buttery biscuit complimented the plate. I also ordered a side of fruit, the fruit was fresh and ripe. The coffee was strong, just like I like it. Giving me the energy to start my day!

I would like to begin by mentioning that my first visit at Toscana Italian Steakhouse with my wife some time ago was exceptional; it exceeded all our expectations. However, last night was an entirely different experience for us. We began by waiting for our food for quite some time. Normally, I don't mind waiting, especially for exceptional cuisine, but unfortunately, that was not the case for all the dishes. The Lamb Lollipops were as delectable as they were on our first visit. The BLT Wedge was also delightful, although the wait for that salad was quite lengthy. While I am by no means a fast cook at home, I could have prepared that salad significantly faster than they did. Our main courses were where everything went downhill. I ordered the Toscana pasta & meatballs, and they were very below average; nothing about them stood out. My wife recently made meatballs at home, and no kidding, they were ten times better, and they weren't even homemade. The only notable aspect of the meatballs here was their size. The pasta was also quite below average. My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo, which was a disappointment. The noodles were very bland, even after being submerged in a soup-like sauce. I've seen many Alfredo dishes in my life, but none like the one here very below average. The greatest disappointment, however, is that, as we all know, Italians are renowned for their exceptional bread. For this establishment to call itself an Italian Steakhouse and serve the most mediocre bread I've ever tasted is a disservice to the Italian culinary tradition. When it comes to the price, I don't mind paying good money for good food I do it all the time. However, for the very mediocre food we received at Toscana, it is not worth a fraction of the price they charge. We could have gone to another favorite place of ours for the same price and received significantly better food and service.
