Logan's Roadhouse has received largely negative reviews from multiple customers. Many reviewers expressed disappointment with the service, citing long wait times for food and utensils, unprofessional staff interactions, and mistakes with orders. Guests reported issues like spilled food without apologies, incorrect items served, and unclear pricing leading to discrepancies on bills. While some reviewers noted that the food quality, such as steaks, was acceptable if not over-seasoned, others were unhappy with portion sizes, particularly for children's meals. We chose Logan's hoping to get a good Texas steak. Not so much. When we were seated the host said he'd bring utensils as soon as they were out of the dishwasher (5:00pm). Then we ordered draft beers, we were told we had to wait until the bartender was done serving a party. We ordered our meals. Rolls arrived, still no utensils, waitress brought plastic ware. Salads arrived, waitress spilled half the salad dressing on the floor, chair, table. No apology, just oh oops I'm not awake yet. Still no utensils, had to ask about them. Meal arrived. Steaks done as requested, however, they had so much meat tenderizer that they no longer tasted like beef. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

Decided to try this place one more time. Thankfully ordered the appetizer and got it before we ordered food. Got the amped up shrimp that was supposed to come with lettuce and green onions. No green onions and the battered shrimp was….HARD. Decided to get a pizza. Service was good, though. We sat at the bar.

Me and my grandmother went to Logan‘s because our favorite place roadhouse was busy and I decided to go to Logan‘s there is no wait time so we went there and then I wasn’t that hungry but I was kinda hungry so I ordered a kids meal burger and she said it was a three dollar up charge and I was OK with that so we ordered the wait time for our food took so long and then when our food got here, I only had one tiny slider, the size of a baby’s hand so I would like to complain about that and my grandmother my poor, sweet innocent grandmother got cold corn if you come to Abilene and you decide to eat at Logan‘s, don’t do it. It is a waste of money and time.

Visited Logans for lunch with our grandchildren. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. We didn't get any peanuts, not sure if they offer anymore. However, the atmosphere changed with the waitress. She brought us our rolls with no plates. After asking for some, she brought us 3 plates for our party of 4. She made no effort to be friendly. Not a smile nor a "you're welcome" after thanking her continually during our visit. To start off? They were out of Raspberry Tea, so I had to settle for Peach tea. I didn't care much for it; so my husband drank it. I just drank water. The children's drinks were served with lids. Perfect! The popcorn shrimp and fries off the childrens menu was the perfect size for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She ate all her shrimp. The burger my other granddaughter ordered looked delicious. Eating only half because it was big for her. My husband and I ordered the country chicken fried steak. Side fries for him, a baked potatoe for me. We both ordered a salad. It was crisp and delicious. However, when our meal came out, I could not believe the size of our chicken fried steak. It looked like something off the childrens menu. Such a disappointment. Well, the waitress eventually said you're welcome and even managed to give a small smile. Not sure if we will return. It was pricey for such a small meal and unfriendly service.

Watch your itemized receipt and your charges to your account, what I was charged was not the same as the itemized bill ($8 difference). (I’m not upset about the difference it’s the principle) The waitress didn’t want to talk to us so we went and got the manager (Marcus) he was cool. He said he couldn’t do anything about it though. Also noticed after getting home that we were charged two additional items that we had not ordered or received. Also didn’t get an item we paid for after the waitress told us she would take it off the bill. Sent the food back once because the steak was rare (We didn’t order rare).

January 25, lunch. Today we had the prime rib and New York strip and for a minute I forgot I was even in Abilene, Texas. The kitchen staff did an amazing job, hats off to the cook who prepared our steak and the service was excellent thank you very much and welcome back!!!!

My husband and I took my parents to this restaurant this afternoon. We went in at 3:00pm for a late lunch/early dinner which was nice because there weren’t a lot of people there and we figured we could beat the dinner crowd. In total, we made a table of 7. Four adults and three older kids ages 10-14.We went in and the hostess, who more than likely was just having a rough day asked how big the party was without so much of a how are ya only to roll her eyes and let us know that we would have to wait for 20 mins. Cool. We will wait. We are a table of 7 after all. While we waited, we watched several other tables being sat prior to us understandably since we were a bigger party. The issue came from the fact that they made us wait for 20 mins only to be sat at a BOOTH meant for six (maybe) and it was a booth that sat empty the entire 20 minutes we had to wait even though there was a larger table available and stayed available during our entire visit. We made it work though thinking it was a lack of staff because let’s be honest, good staff are hard to find these days. So four of us scrunch on one side while the other three scrunched on the other. All the while my poor husband was hanging off the side of our side of the booth. We were never offered a different alternative and even asked for a chair to put at the the end of the table but alas, no chair was given. We ordered our food which is when problem number two came occurred. I specifically asked for the mushroom jack burger and conversed with the waitress to see if I could get it as a burger and not on chicken. She said it could be done and went to put it in. Our table was rarely checked on and even though the waitress joked about how crowded our table look (we weren’t laughing) she never helped clear off plates and such that weren’t being used to make more room. I ended up having to move the extras to a table next to us so we could get room. When our food did come, my burger was indeed chicken not a burger as we agreed so I had to wait for my food while my family finished their meals without me. By the time my order was corrected, my family was done eating and ready to go. At this point I was frustrated and finally just grabbed a chair from another table so that we could have more room. Another waitress helping ours during our second check in even made the remark of how it was hard to move around me and the chair to get to my husbands drink to FINALLY get his refill. The final straw for me with this establishment was when we got up to leave, the bus boy couldn’t push us out fast enough as he started bussing the table while my dad was trying to get out of the booth and jacket on. I was so disappointed in the service and lack of concern for the customers. We are from the Lubbock area and came to visit my parents and actually suggested this restaurant because we have only ever had good experiences in our Lubbock location. Never judge a book I guess because this will be the last time we come back to this restaurant.

I've never been so disgruntled by a dish before in my life and I've grown up poor. ITS DRY! Has no depth, no flavor beyond the sauce and the meatballs I can taste are frozen for months before being used only to be replaced by another 50lb box. On top of that the meatballs a fully Grey and probably hard bread since they are bland and have no flavor beyond one weak layer of imitation meatball. The pasta, is dry, the only flavor is sauce and that it self is 1 dimensional. It's like, basic, unseasonably, uncrared, tomatoes sauce. There isn't even any parmasean or basil like the ad says. I'm never ever ordering from here or ever going to visit this location and any other location simply based on this one simple dish. I havenever taken my time out of my life to leave a negative review for food. But this warrants me to take such time to make this review on here and door dash and report it to Leo's Kitchen.
