Probably the best meal I've ever had!!! Arrived at 4:00 in the evening. They don't open till 5:00- but Melissa made sure we had one of the best seats in the house... Having got the prime rib rare it was perfect. I got the fillet medium rare. It was beyond perfect.. Save room for the bread pudding!!! Didn't take a picture of anything. I just started eating!!!

Fire in the fireplace was cozy and welcoming. It was our first time to visit and we were grateful for our waitress’s advice. We split a 32oz Porterhouse that was grilled to perfection. The salad, rolls and green chile hominy were fabulous. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Outdoor areas were beautiful and can only imagine the wonderful outdoor events that are held here! Worth the drive. Several neighboring diners were from out of town visiting for the first time thanks to the reputation of the steaks. Don’t miss this gem if you’re anywhere near Abilene, TX!

We had a reservation for 6 pm, and from the moment we walked in, our experience was great. The hostesses were so sweet, and our waiter was GREAT. We started our evening with jalapeño bites. Mexican martini and a peach bourbon something. It's all very tasty! I ordered the pork chop plate with a Cesar salad and green chili hominy. The pork chops were huge, and the hominy was fabulous. My SO ordered a peppered strip steak with a side salad. Y'all, it was so good. Let's not forget we received a basket of bread. The service, atmosphere, and food make this establishment way above a 5.

The food here was so delicious! Everything was great!! The customer service was beyond good, I’ll definitely go back again. Very nice beautiful scenery as well. Love the rustic decor.

It's a must not miss experience if you are visiting the area. Great Texas staples served perfectly and extremely friendly and efficient staff. Sadly I only took one photo. Of my fried quail appetizer. Got the pork chop which was cooked to perfection and Perini zucchini. My date got the filet which she enjoyed very much.

This place was amazing! I took my man for his bday, and it did not disappoint...it was worth the 3 hour drive! We will absolutely be back!!! 5 stars 🌟 hands down!

Fantastic steak (Had the ribeye)! Everything was amazing. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, food was amazing, and really can’t be beat! Recommend the Hominey and Jalapeño Poppers as well!
