Wasabi Japanese Steak House

I went once with a big group and we did the hibachi dinner. It was fun and very good. Not cheap but good portion. I went back and this time sat in a booth and only ordered sushi with a friend. It is the best sushi I had in Murfreesboro so far. We ordered 3 rolls and we loved all three of them. They all had their own unique flavor. I would say though that the sitting area that’s not around the hibachi isn’t very nice. And the bathroom floor was sticky. But the sushi was great and reasonable price for the portion.

B^( I use to love this place for its food and good hospitality but OH-B^o how things change. Tonight the food was not of the quality that I am accustomed to and my guests also felt the same way. The quality of the food was not good as in the past; what happened??? I know some restaurants start out good and build a good clientele for repetitive customers. Then, they lose focus; we got the people so let's just do whatever. Doesn't work that way. Never lose focus of what got you in the place you're in. When you lose focus, you lose customers-;^/ I hate it but I will not be going back! I will track them to see how long they stay open now... Good Luck! H-san

I had a pick up order. When I arrived my order wasn’t ready which was no big deal because I did just place it. My issue is when I watch her bag my order instead of handing it to me she just left it next to the register. I gave the food 2 stars because the shrimp fried rice was not good. My 8 year old child even complained about the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp taste rubbery like it was cooked too long or it wasn’t fresh. The sushi I order was great. First time coming and probably won’t try it again.

The restaurant did not feel clean. The strawberry daiquiri was not mixed well and came in a normal drinking cup. My rice was undercooked. Some parts of the rice were hard. They put some type of teriyaki sauce on the chicken without asking and personally, I do not like Teriyaki sauce. Waiter never came to my table once other than to bring my drink and take my order. Had high hopes, but will not be back.

Very entertaining Chef! Enough food for 2 days. I’ve never caught a piece of shrimp in my nose before, (missed my mouth as he flicked it), but very fun. Always get extra Yum-Yum sauce!

Me and my family went to wasabi to celebrate a birthday. Service was terrible. We received one refill and had to track staff down for drinks. The food was great but that was about it. To conclude the meal we go to pay and we were told the card didn’t work. We check the account and sure enough there is a charge for the meal but yet the cashier is aggressively demanding money.. as we try to explain they become more hostile demanding pay.. we scramble around to pay in cash. So now we have paid twice. Hoping the charge would fall off. Unfortunately it didn’t and the restaurant is giving us the run around. I was informed to call on Tuesday as that’s the only day a manager can help.. this place is ass and I will never go back.. at this point I fully believe they added the cash as a tip and used the card payment as payment.. since literally no one is willing or able help I have to believe it’s theft.

1st time ever eating here & it's hands down my new favorite place!!! The chef was amazing..the service was awesome & the steak omg best I've had in many many years!!! I would recommend this place 20/10

Lunch at 1:25 in the afternoon and the restaurant was quiet. The building is a little older but the food and service are good.(This restaurant does not have noodle soup.) We had miso soup, salad, sushi, and chicken hibachi. The server was patient and efficient. Everything was fresh. ❤️
