My husband took me to this restaurant for Valentine’s Day, and we had an amazing dinner. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Everything was perfect—we ate and drank wonderfully. We will definitely be back!

Completely blown away by how good our experience was here! Our server Sydney was so knowledgeable about the menu and extremely attentive to my dairy allergy/happy to make substitutions when needed. We did the Monday date night special for $80 and had the tempura appetizer, the short rib (substituted butternut risotto for the mashed potatoes - this may have been my favorite part of the meal), the filet mignon, the sorbet, and the chocolate cheesecake. Everything was excellent. This is a true gem in Murfreesboro!

Came here for Valentines Day. Food is incredible. 3 course dinner with very attentive servers. This is our second time here and its worth every penny. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an upscale place to have dinner in the Boro.

Atmosphere was decent. Friendly staff. People watching football at the bar were obnoxious. Waitress wasn’t mindful. She didn’t get part of the order right, even after repeating it back to me. Market salad was delicious, but it was on a flat platter and it kept falling off. Pork cutlet over lima beans and orzo was good. Pork needed seasoning, but side was delicious. Overall a good experience and we will give it one more try.

We went to five senses just this past Friday for my wife's birthday and had a great time. Five senses came recommended to us through some friends and it didn't disappoint. They have a very cool open kitchen, unique menu with many tempting choices, Garrett our waiter was excellent, the food was phenomenal and it was great value for the kind of food they serve. We had the bacon wrapped quail which was delicious, it was like eating a campfire! I was so excited to eat my tomahawk pork chop I forgot to take the picture before I started hence the partially eaten picture (sorry). My wife's lamb was mouth watering as well. It's not quite a white table cloth place but certainly on the fancier side. The desert main didn't have much choice but my upsidedown cake was really good. The food was hot but the restaurant was a little chilly to my liking. Overall a great spot and we will be back!

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a place for a nice birthday dinner. Everything we ate was a winner. Crab cakes exceptional and the scallops were so tender they melted in your mouth. Waitress made a great wine recommendation and was very personable without being ever-present. (I wish I could remember her name. All I can remember is that she recently moved from Chattanooga area.).

One of the few great restaurants in Murfreesboro. Food and service is outstanding. Our server Victoria was excellent. We ordered the filet and lamb chops. Both were very good. Filet was my favorite and very tender and flavorful. Fried green tomatoes are excellent also. Definitely will be back. The bacon wrapped quail looks delicious and will be trying that on our next visit.

Disappointed and lackluster at best. My wife and I had been looking forward to enjoying a meal at five senses for a while, but left rather underwhelmed and disappointed with the place. The food was good and well prepared, but whatever merit the food brought was tainted by the experience surrounding it. The atmosphere was weird with the restaurant being tucked away at the end of an old strip mall turned medical offices and nail salons. It was not overly busy for a Friday night, yet it seemed they were tucking everyone into the same little corner of the dining room. The cocktail menu was weird too with bizarre descriptions lacking a single ounce of familiarity, which would have been fine if they sounded the least bit appealing, but they didn’t. I settled on an off menu but simple staple for any bartender to make the old fashioned. It came out watered down and flavorless. My wife enjoyed a flute of Prosecco and seemed pleased with her choice, although she was planning on having a glass of red wine with her entree, but never got the opportunity to order it. The appetizers didn’t seem all that appetizing so we went straight into dinner. I had the duck, she had the filet. Shortly after we ordered our entrees the bread came out and they swiftly removed our bread plates. The waitress noticed I was not enjoying my cocktail, and insisted on bringing me another one which suffered a similar fate of being watered down, but this time extra boosy. The desert menu was disappointing as well. We got our check, paid the $140 we owed them and walked away feeling like we needed to do something else to salvage the evening. Oh and the plastic bags was how they bagged up our table neighbors leftovers.
