The Chop House

The Chili was good, the lemonade was good, but the Ribeye was fantastic. The steak doneness was on point, not perfect, but it was almost there. I asked for medium rare and as you can tell from the picture it was right on point, It was more on the medium side, but it was delicious. The loaded baked potato was good as well. The service was great. Kudos to Taylor, awesome waiter. Table for two, 80 bucks, not bad at all.

Hello nashville area...I'm never disappointed... city life and food here at this nice restaurant is a great find. We had calamari.. good ...prime rib.. better and let's not forget the vegetables...cooked perfectly. Service polite and helpful...everything was awesome. Try them when in area...

It wasn't a solid 2 star experience but not really close to a 3. Don't get me wrong it's a change of venues to eat out. Just a couple things. I'm by no means a huge person but the booth seating is like for 12 year olds. Maybe some normal booth seating like at Chick-Fil-A. The restaurant was fairly full but it took around 22 minutes after placing our order to get our order. A salad with chicken strips that cook in 5 minutes and my wife got a soup and salad? 22 minutes? To top off some silly prices they charged my wife 1.00 to chop a salad? My 17.00 chicken strip salad has the equivalent of child's portion of chicken ground up into pieces. I'm at a loss for words. Check out the pictures. Nothing horribly wrong, but 53.00 dollars for 2 salads, soup, diet coke, and some chips and queso.

This Chop House here in Murfreesboro is, after this meal, one of my top Go-to places in this area for a great meal! My server Ben was absolutely perfect with my craziness of having him interacting with my open ordering. He chose some amazing dishes. (I choose two items and let my server make the final decision. It adds a nice touch when they participate.) My buffet….. started with nice warm fresh bread and SOFT butter! That little detail makes a big difference to me. Next was my deviled eggs topped with brown sugar bacon and crispy calamari and shrimp appetizers. Cooked perfect. Lots can go wrong with either and even the calamari was super tender. Next up was my blue cheese salad that had just the right amount of fresh ingredients….. Not for my main courses. Dish one was a perfectly cooked and nicely cut medium rare prime rib with very flavorful au jus and a nice loaded baked potato. Super tender and flavorful prime rib!! Dish two was Baked Halibut. This one a nice cut and again cooked just right. Flakey, moist and flavorful! A tough trio it seems in most restaurants! But they did it perfectly. My creamed spinach and corn crème brûlée were very good! I’ve had them before and that’s why I selected them again. No dessert…. I was sooo full. Thank you Chop House and especially Ben my server!!

Nice and clean establishment. Our server regularly checked on us. The food was amazing. I had the petite pork chops with mash potatoes and spinach. I wonder what type of sweet tea they serve, because it was delicious

First off, Bonnie (see photo below) was our server and was perfect. She was very warm and personable. She knew the menu and offered suggestions. She kept our drinks filled without us having to ask. She cleared our table of used dishes almost in stealth mode. We were all very pleased at her professionalism and the way she treated us like family. The food was superb. We had the deviled eggs with maple bacon (unreal flavor and mouth watering) and the cheese stick appetizers. They were cooked to perfection. We had the prime rib, and the taste was better than I have had in a long time. We plan on going back as soon as possible and trying other menu items.
