The LongHorn Steakhouse in Murfreesboro has a mixed reputation based on customer reviews. Some patrons feel the restaurant is older and needs modernization, but appreciate the good atmosphere and service. Food quality is inconsistent; the steaks received praise for their doneness, particularly the Outlaw Ribeye, but some diners found other items lackluster, with bland bread and flat beer noted. Service experiences vary, with standout servers like Taylor and Lily receiving compliments for their attentive and friendly service, while others report less favorable encounters. This is definitely an older Longhorn and not as modernized as most of them. The atmosphere and service were good. The bread, salads, vegetables and potatos were awesome as always. The steak however, wasn't quite as good as most Longhorns we've ever visited. Still a good meal overall, and wasn't the usual huge wait to get into this location.

I've visited Murfreesboro a couple of times and both times I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. That time I had the outlaw ribeye and I was amazed by the steak doneness, they were very sharp. Most of the time the restaurants mess up the medium rare, that time they nailed it. So I had to go back and put them to the test, once again I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye and omg, it was really good, doneness was again on point. The asparagus and the loaded baked potato, great as well, the Mac n Cheese was tasty. The service is remarkable, the ladies were very nice and with a great attitude. Congratulations to the team they cook awesome food in there. Thank you for everything!

Had a wonderful experience after a bad one. Taylor greeted us immediately when were seated. She gave us a few suggestions and checked in on us throughout our experience. She definitely turned a underwhelming night into a great one.

I have been to this location a few times. The food was okay, but not really flavorable this time around. The bread was bland and the beer was flat. The server was decent but picked up the check after I paid and looked at it almost right in front of me. I tipped 20% like I always do so it wasn't a big deal but still, I think it is rude in my opinion. Outback or Texas Roadhouse is the way to go for consistent food quality.

Been coming to this location for 10ish? Years. Food and service is always great but they really need to give it some attention. Attached photos of men's bathroom. Fast food chains often have nicer/cleaner and better appearing restrooms. Really should do better. ** edit They have since fixed the majority of this. New sink, mirror, etc

It's always been a good experience here especially when we brought my mom/dad and sister from California who had never been before and they really liked it as well they were most happy with the Huge Margarita they offered. Def recommend :)

I recently dined at this restaurant and ordered the Flo's fillet cooked to a perfect medium with broccoli and baked potatoes as sides. For appetizers, we indulged in the spicy chicken bites and the wild west shrimps, two dishes I've always cherished at LongHorn. Although the onion soup didn't quite meet our taste preferences, the shrimp and lobster chowder soup was delightful. I must highlight our server Lily, who was truly exceptional. Her outstanding service and incredible patience throughout our meal were truly remarkable. She definitely deserves recognition, perhaps even a raise!
