Customer Review Summary
Demos' Restaurant has received mixed reviews from patrons. Many enjoyed the food, highlighting must-try items like the rolls and the seafood stuffed baked potato, which consistently impresses with generous seafood portions. Guests appreciated the casual, family-friendly atmosphere and friendly servers, noting some outstanding service experiences. However, a few diners expressed dissatisfaction with specific dishes, such as the tomato spaghetti sauce and Delmonico steak, which did not meet their expectations. Service timing appeared to be an issue during busy times, particularly for larger groups, with some guests experiencing long waits for the bill or for food. Overall, while some diners had a wonderful experience and plan to return, others were less enthusiastic and uncertain about revisiting.

Loved it. I was wondering if we wouldn't get in because it was packed, but only wait about 2 minutes to get a great window table. Food was good and rools are definitely a must.

First time here and I'm not sure we'll be back. It was just ok. The tomato spaghetti sauce was more reminiscent of tomato soup or Chef Boyardee. Too runny for my tastes. The sausage was good, though. My wife had the pot roast, which she thought was more like stew, with heavy on the onions and veggies and light on the roast. Not sure why every false ceiling tile was missing where there was a light fixture. Also, since our table was right next to the busser's station, it wasn't kept tidy and we had to look at the "slop bucket" of discarded food as workers came by while loudly bussing. Not inducive to a pleasant dining experience. Finally, timing seemed way off for service. After asking if we wanted dessert, which we declined, it shouldn't take 15+ minutes to bring the bill (for only two diners). On the bright side, the bread was great.

I'd like to set the record straight on my brother's (Ryan Jolly) recent review. If I could make him remove it, I would because it is false and more a reflection of his impatience & poor manners than it is of this restaurant. We went Sunday after church with 18 people and got seated as soon as we were all there. Drinks were ordered & delivered promptly, and food orders were taken right after drinks were delivered. We did wait some time for the first course (salads/soups/bread) but not really outside the norm for a large group on a Sunday. On the first round of bread, there definitely was enough bread for everyone to have a piece. Our main entree did come quickly after the salads. While that can be frustrating, it's not the end of the world. Many of us had enough time to devour a piece of delicious bread and eat probably half our salad. The main entree was delivered over several rounds, since we had such a large group and the staff asked if anything was missing or incorrect once they delivered all dishes. One person was missing the tomatoes that they asked to be added to their sandwich (of which was brought to the table quickly). The staff was apologetic about the timing. I probably would've given 4 stars for this particular visit, but it's been a consistently 5 star place that we love to visit when we're in the area. I'm incredibly sorry for the rudeness my brother displayed. Thank you for the patience & kindness the staff showed us even after my brother caused a scene. Looking forward to my next visit!

The $11.99 seafood stuffed baked potato at Demos is SO GOOD! I’ve gotten it about 10 times over the last couple years and it’s ALWAYS good. It has so much crab and shrimp in it and it comes with a bread roll and either a side salad or soup. I couldn’t get good pics because the sun was so bright but I promise you it’s amazing!

First time eating here. I liked the casual, family atmosphere. Lemon was our server and she was very sweet and was a great server as well. She was very knowledge about the menu items and gave some good suggestions. I got the side salad with ranch and he ordered the chicken and rice soup to start off. We also added the brown butter dipping sauce for our bread. It was great. We both had the Delmonico steak, mine with Jim's Famous Spinach and his with the loaded baked potato. My expectations of a Delmonico steak was a thick cut with marbling and great flavor. What we got was a thin cut, no marbling and both were cooked medium-well instead of medium that we ordered. The steak did have a good flavor, but was very different than what I had anticipated. Overall it was a positive experience. I'd definitely eat here again.

The food is good and plenty on the menu to pick from. The waiters were very attentive at our table but I thought they were actually overly attentive. It is very important to be attentive at a table with customers but our waiter was checking on our table about every 5 minutes which was over doing it a bit . I wondered if the waiter was a new employee and was trying to make sure he was attentive to his tables he was serving. We got a table quickly without a wait which was great.

Wow, Dana and I was in Murfreesboro today at lunch time and she suggested Demos' Restaurant . So glad she did. We were welcomed upon coming in and shown to our table. Waited on quickly and answered our questions. We ordered the Greek Chicken Spaghetti with the side being the Chicken rice soup. They brought us our drinks and their wonderful rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Be sure to stop in for a fantastic lunch or dinner at Demos', you'll be glad you did.
