This place is such a hidden gem. Wow. You would never in a million years think a steak house in a best western in Beaverton is phenomenal but here we are. Cocktails were amazing. Wine list was so good. They had some great willamette valley options but rounded out the list with some bigger, bolder reds from California and Washington that pair really well with the steaks. Croquettes were the perfect little bite for an appetizer. Beet and apple salad was so yummy. Both the filet and tomahawk were really, really good. And caramel cheesecake was literally the icing on the cake. Staff was so sweet and helpful. Ambiance left a little bit to be desired but was very clean and comfortable. Prices were extremely reasonable. We splurged for Valentine’s Day and were still way under what another steakhouse would have charged for this meal. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We came for a family celebration on a Friday evening. It was not too crowded, and we had reservations just in case. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the guest of honor ordered a steak, which was not prepared per his request. They left his sides, and he had eaten them by the time the newly prepared steak arrived. Otherwise, everyone enjoyed their dishes. We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so most likely, we will return, and I will update this review.

Steak is ok. Has a butter taste. Texture is decent. Potato balls were decent. Steak bites are decent. Fries with duck fat is delicious. Pork skin is delicious.

Good steak in Beaverton? And if you had told me, it's at the Best Western, I would have told you to F off. I've been to pretty much every steakhouse in Portland so I rarely think of Beaverton when going out for steak, but my neighbor told me about this place along with the cigar bar up top. About four of us rolled in about 1800 with no reservation, the place was pretty empty at that time so we got a table straight away. When you turn into the place, there is plenty of parking if you take the little one way road along the front of the hotel and go down the hill to the backside...plenty of parking. We had the house old fashions and my lady had her dirty goose martini, pork rinds and olives for appetizers. For the meal we all had the steak dinners. The prices here are amazing compared to other steak places in Portland and it's not all ala carte like those places so your dinner comes with steak, some gravy stuff on top and asparagus (you will smell it in your pee the next day) and potatoes. I had the NY strip steak cooked medium. Other folks at my table has the filet and NY strip with one person saying his filet was cooked too done but he still said it was tender and good. Now, most steak places serve prime beef and it's pretty easy to determine the beef is prime because it's generally all over the menu, and I meant to ask but it slipped my mind so I'm going to say it was choice beef....which is no necessarily a bad thing as I buy that from Costco unless I'm feeling extra and want to spring for prime. The steak also comes with a pat of butter on top that stayed solid so the steak was not super hot on the outside. The gravy was good, but next time I'll see if they put it on the side as good steaks don't need anything but salt and pepper and some good butter so the steak could not stand on it's on. The potatoes were excellent and I (along with others at the table) felt the asparagus was a bit overcooked. Overall the server was super nice, helpful and understood the entire menu and was amazing. I plan to go back again as I think my dad would like this place also so plan to take him one day. Best steakhouse in Beaverton? I'd say yes as I'm unaware of any other steak places in Beaverton. And it looks like this place is only open Thu-Sat.

The "mini" tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were wonderfully seasoned. Cocktails were excellent as was the Malbec. The in house chicharrones were a huge hit as were the duckfat fries. This is definitely a solid steakhouse that we will return to

At first we were a little nervous about the quality because it was in a Best Western but OMGoodness totally worth it! Steak cuts like butter and the salt and vinegar pork grinds were amazing! A little on the pricey side but you totally get what you pay for. Definitely one of the best steaks in Portland.

The Steakhouse at 9900 – A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering Thanksgiving 2024 was my first time dining at The Steakhouse at 9900, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. I’ve been a regular at The Chamber upstairs, enjoying cigars and great food, but this was my first sit-down dinner in the Steakhouse—and it did not disappoint. Ambiance Walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the upscale yet welcoming vibe. It’s tucked away inside a Best Western, which might make you hesitate, but don’t let the location fool you. The interior is far nicer than you’d expect, with a cozy, understated charm that feels both inviting and elevated. The Food The food here is truly outstanding. For Thanksgiving, my son had the turkey dish while I went for the prime rib, and both were flawless. The turkey was perfectly cooked—juicy and flavorful—and my prime rib was a showstopper. Tender, seasoned to perfection, and cooked exactly as I ordered. Every bite reminded me why I love finding places like this. Service The waitstaff was phenomenal—attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and clearly passionate about delivering a great experience. It’s the kind of service you don’t always find in larger or more pretentious establishments. What Stands Out The Steakhouse at 9900 feels like a hidden gem, offering the quality of Portland’s best steakhouses but without the pretentiousness. The food holds its own against any high-end spot, but the atmosphere is relaxed, making it a perfect choice for a family dinner or a night out with friends. Final Thoughts Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Steakhouse at 9900 is a must-visit. Incredible food, welcoming service, and a vibe that’s both polished and approachable—it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again. Rating: 5/5 stars. Absolutely worth it.
