The thought occurred to me this experience is like Ruth’s Chris menu and quality but with a very personal touch. Great place for a dinner for a couple or two. The decor has been recently upgraded. All our stakes were done to the proper temperature and came out hot. The shareable sides were slightly battled over, as were the desserts. This smaller restaurant is tucked away but we will look to come back soon!

07/22/2023 My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time today after having wanted to come for a long time. We had the Clam Chowder, Caesar Salad, 16 oz Ribeye Steak with Creamy Mashed Potatoes on the side, and Wild Salmon. The server was very friendly and helpful; and he split the soup and salad in half each. Although it was a half portion, it was quite a large portion and very filling. The steak was tender and extremely tasty. We had a Jungle Bird🍸 cocktail, Red Flight🍷🍷🍷 wine, and a classic New York cheesecake for dessert. My one disappointment was that the coffee was surprisingly weak. 😓. The atmosphere was homey and relaxing. 03/05/2023 We went back for my husband's birthday. We had West Coast Cabernet Flight🍷🍷🍷,Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice🍹, Caesar Salad🥗, Beer Battered Mushrooms🍄, Porterhouse Steak w/ mushrooms and Onion🥩, and the Daily Vegetable. Today's server was courteous and friendly and, as before, he divided the salad🥗 between two plates. The Beer Battered Mushrooms were very tasty with good mushroom flavor. We prefer a steak with a good amount of fat on it, so we preferred the rib-eye from the last time over the Porterhouse Steak. The rain stopped halfway through the meal and we were able to spend a relaxing time watching the sunset.🌇

Great food, but when it's busy you will have a bit of a wait once seated. Good service, great steak! Worth mentioning that this place serves the best, possibly, Moscow Mule I've ever tasted.

Great place, minimal fuss and wonderful food. The entrance could use some better signage, not knowing whether to wait to be seated, or where to go. We dined in the outdoor tent. Good seating, and our Server was kind and friendly. She recommended the Cajun prawns with pesto, and it was prepared perfectly. Our Ribeye and NY were tender and delicious. The shareable mashed potatoes were flavorful and hearty. Dessert was a bit simple, but also good. Will be back again!

Closed for renovations and send you around corner to Casa Lola where they say you will sit in private dining room. It is actually there outdoor space with a portable AC We waited almost an hour to get our food. Definitely not what was promised as far as service and “fine” dining. Don’t go until they reopen real restaurant.

Pretty over priced and the quality wasn’t there. The service was really good and really nice. Inside vibe didn’t feel like a steak house so it had its own feel. We had the rib-eye for 60 dollars and mage. A 3rd was really fatty. Since I don’t like eating fat, especially at a 60 dollars price point, I ended up spitting it out. After trying our whole groups meal was not included to have more. It just wasn’t that good. Having been to some amazing steak houses at similar prices I say this is close to the bottom of my list.

I've been here a handful of times (before and after the renovation, never during) and it's never failed me. The food, wine and service are all top notch. The staff is always personable, but especially on slow evenings I've had the pleasure of some really great and informative chats about wine & food. Such a neighborhood gem! If you had a poor experience during the reno, I'd recommend giving it another shot. A local business with great food at a reasonable price is hard to find. :)

Can be a little loud when busy. Seating leaves something to be desired and needs more personal seating. The staff there was absolutely wonderful from the moment we walked in till the time we left. Super friendly and attentive. The food... Oh my, the food... my wife had the ribeye, and I had the 6oz filet mignon. We both had moments of bliss per bite. I have never had a steak so flavorful, so moist, so tender that I would rather let it break down on its own rather than chew it. I should have ordered the 10oz instead as the 6 Oz left me wanting more. I am a picky eater, never do I eat the fat on a steak... today that changed. Couldn't have picked a better place for a steak.
