Great spot for a fancy date, special birthday, anniversary, or other formal occasion. Beautiful views of the city, especially if you’re lucky enough to get a window table. Even though the food is high-quality and upscale, the portions are generous and filling. I recommend the coconut crunchy shrimp and the spinach salad. The side of mushrooms is indulgent and makes any mushroom-haters change their minds. Don’t forget to order a hot lava cake! It will change your life!

We dined here for the Christmas Eve special. The seafood was great! I really enjoyed the flaky moist Chilean Sea Bass over lobster risotto. The dry ice on the shrimp cocktail was cool. Key Lime pie was huge! Very friendly and attentive staff even though it was super busy. Even saw a rainbow out the window!

This is such a romantic place and we were lucky to be seated by the window with an incredible view. We grabbed drinks at the bar while we waited for our table (we had reservations, came early). After we got seated, we got calamari as an appetizer. I did not expect the portion to be so big, but we really enjoyed it. Then we order our mains- I had the lamb chops and my bf had the shrimp pasta. For dessert we had 3 different kinds of creme brulee, it's a must! Our service was amazing, you could tell our waiter was a pro (did not get his name). 4 out 5 stars on the atmosphere, it was dim and romantic, but the music did not match that vibe. We were confused about the pop music.... Otherwise everything else was exceptional!

A Truly Spectacular Experience at Chart House Portland From the moment we walked in, we were treated exceptionally well, and a huge part of that was thanks to Karen, our incredible server. She was an absolute ray of sunshine—genuinely the most upbeat and joyful server I’ve ever had. She was quick, efficient, and refreshingly honest about what to order, making our experience that much better. The food? Phenomenal. We started with the Asian-inspired calamari, which was not only delicious but a massive portion—definitely great for sharing. Our table enjoyed the perfectly cooked prime rib, flavorful lamb chops, and an amazing filet. And let’s not forget the mushrooms, which were a standout side dish. Every bite was packed with flavor, making for an unforgettable meal. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Looking down over the city while enjoying a fantastic meal made the experience even more magical. But truly, the highlight of our night was Karen. Her energy, kindness, and enthusiasm elevated our evening beyond just a great dinner—it was an experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Logan was the best. He made our valentines memorable! The food is out of this world! The drinks amazing! With Logan’s recommendation we had the best dinner in a while. Not to mention the beautiful view. We'll certainly come back for more!

Bartender and server were so nice!! Went there for happy hour and the drinks were delicious. We had the spinach and artichoke dip and the burger slides. Both dishes were delicious and we left well pleased and with happy bellies. Parking lot is valet only during higher traffic times, so make sure you have cash to tip and be a good patron!!
