I called Saturday evening to ask about seating a party of 7 with 2 hours notice. The very pleasant Donna was very accommodating and easy to follow up with. It felt like we had a private dining table given the size of this place. And the service was prompt, delicious and accommodating of last minute allergy concerns. Saving this one for a return trip to Eugene.

10/10 Service. Great atmosphere. Robert, the waiter is absolutely incredible. It was my friend's Birthday, he was completely on top of all 6 orders and constant drinks. Friendly & professional. We even got him to sing my friend Happy Birthday & take a GREAT photo of us all! Such a gentleman. Drinks were very well made. The food was AMAZING. Definitely suggest trying the Baby Kale Cesar Salad and Ahi Tuna! Yum! I will definitely be back!

I have been meaning to write a review for The Davis for quite a while, and thought I should now. I have had dinner here many many times over the years and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal or experience. I think it is one of the most underrated restaurants in Eugene. I love to go out to eat and The Davis is consistently delicious and a great atmosphere for partners, friends, or whoever else you love to eat with. When they have their raw oysters they are my favorite in town, and I think their Salmon is cooked better than any place locally that I’ve had it, and it’s extremely reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. The drinks on the cocktail menu are creative and delicious, and they have good wine with multiple varieties available by the glass. The service is always wonderful, and I’ve never noticed a wait for food/drinks even when it is busy for dinner. I have many pictures of my food from over the years but attached are some recents!

The Davis pours from an outstanding champagne list with multiple offerings from each of the five sub regions of champagne -- the best offerings I've seen in a restaurant. Used Resy to request the 2012 Vintage RH Coutier Champagne "Millésime" be chilled in advance of our reservation. Breathing for the first time in 12 years -- proved to be a most exceptional champagne. Last bottle of the evening was the Thierry Triolet Rosé Brut, requested so we could share with other guests; utterly refreshing perfection for $55/bottle. Foragers in our party ordered the Porcini Mushroom Ravioli with Spring Vegetables, Domestic & Foraged Mushrooms, Green Garlic, Sunflower Seed Nettle Pesto which surprised us with a very tasty morel sauce topped with delicious roasted piñons. Then there was the Chef's Board: with cheesy grits, brie cheese, house cured bacon, jalapeño cheddar sausages, with fresh berries and watermelon. Jicama Citrus salad. Experience was so good came back to try another, "The V6 experience" from Andre Clouet, also from the Montage de Reim area. Six years on the second lees, presented as golden yellow ambrosia with powerful structure with bea honey lingering in the mouth after wards. Rated 93/100 by Parker for good reason. Dishes: the Shrimp and Grits -- Blackened Shrimp, Abenaki Corn Grits, Cheddar, Charred Green Chili Butter -- came out quickly and was inhaled with equal speed by the southerner at the table who declared it was very, very good. A double "very" is high praise. In the end, decided to take some bottles home with us because there were more we wanted to try and knew it would be a little while before we could come back. Took home champagne from each of the five sub regions because there was a multi bottle discount. Worth asking about. Service was attentive. Ambiance lovely.

First time to The Davis, we were impressed with our friendly, knowledgeable server. We ordered soft pretzel and pimento cheese dip, steak with demiglaze and shoestring fries, salmon with potato salad and asparagus. We also tried a Jalapeno pomegranate margaritas and a Roy Roger. Everything was spot on, delicious. The salmon blew me away. Great birthday dinner ♥

We were in town for a short visit and found The Davis on a Google search. We all had healthy appetites and open minds, and the minute we walked in we loved the place. Everything from start to finish was A+. Friendly staff, delicious apps and amazing entrees! The Deviled Eggs and Sweet Potato Fries were our starters. My sister enjoyed the Salmon and I opted for the Kabobs on Alberto’s recommendation. WOW! I cleaned that plate…We shared a Crème Brûlée for dessert to top off a perfect dinner and after, took a lap around the dining room and enjoyed the artwork. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Eugene!! The food was superb in flavor, presentation, and price point. The atmosphere was the perfect vibe and energy. Get dressed up or show up how you are, as a family or for two, certainly you will have an unforgettable date night. Cocktails were on point. Tasty and strong as well as visually pleasing. Not sure how it has taken 5 years to find this restaurant but now that I have it is my #1. Highly recommend!
