Sam's Place Tavern

This place follows the typical sports bar format, with numerous TV screens and long tables perfect for gatherings. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, where you can watch live sports broadcasts. While the service staff seemed a bit understaffed compared to the number of customers, the food received positive feedback, especially the fried items. Overall, it’s a recommended spot, and I plan to visit again later. 😊

We've been going here for quite a while now. The Friday Prime Rib is awesome and you can have it smoked or slow roasted. There really has not been any food that was not great so far. Staff are nice but it can get busy sometimes and they do their best. I wish they had rotating beers but it is not a big enough issue to stop going since the food is great. TV's all around. Booth makes it a little easier to hear when you are visiting with others.

They have the best prime rib. You can either get it roasted or smoked! But everything on the menu is great. They have a bunch of tv's and lottery machines. They have good service and friendly staff. I just met the new owner and he is really nice and wanted to keep it the same as the last owner! They make good alcoholic beverages.

Haven't been there in about 12 years, but what they've done is amazing. The food was great, the servers were friendly, and their covered and heated patio is amazing! Karaoke on Sundays just started, too. Highly recommend.

As a sports bar, this place is fantastic! Service was GREAT! Atmosphere was super fun for the CFP. The fact that there are TV's literally in every direction you look, is how a sports bar should be. If the event is big, get there early. It WILL fill up!

I recently reserved the back room for a 60th birthday party. The atmosphere was fabulous. The service was extraordinary and the food was delicious. I did not get one complaint from any of my 60 guests. The bartender assigned to our area was on top of it and nobody had to wait around for drinks. I highly recommend Sam’s place. On a sidenote ownership just changed. We love the old owner, but the new owner came out and personally wanted to know what they could do better. And this case I was very happy to report that everything was perfect.

Was a nice packer bar, good food, and brews on tap. It got a bit crowded for the last visit, and it was hard to find anywhere to sit. Wanted to sit outside but had people smoking, which is not only off-putting but makes me feel sick.

I've been to Sam's numerous times for the past five years. Always had exemplary food and service. Today however I ordered their dinner entree of chicken breast with two sides for 15.99. The chicken was patties you would buy in a frozen food bag from WinCo. They were sickly pale without seasoning. My two sides were mashed potatoes and $3 upcharge of seasoned vegetables. My dinner partner ordered the prime rib with the same sides and received twice the amt of seasoned vegetables. This was a very disappointing meal considering the wonderful quality we've come to expect at Sam's. I would never order this again but maybe this menu option should be removed or revamped until it's up to par with your other meals. The service as always was absolutely wonderful.
