Customer Review Summary

The Paragon Supper Club offers excellent food and attentive service, making it a reliable choice for a nice dinner. The crab claws and bone-in filet are standout dishes, with the filet being cooked to perfection and praised for its tender texture. The salads feature tasty homemade dressings, though some reviews noted a decline in quality with pre-packaged ingredients. French Onion soup is a must-try, along with the "Paragon Supreme." While the restaurant's atmosphere has a dated charm, some feel it could benefit from a renovation. Accessibility issues have been mentioned regarding restrooms for wheelchair users. Overall, guests appreciate the value for money, considering the high-quality beef and dining experience. The ambiance, complete with live jazz, adds to special occasions like anniversaries. Despite some inconsistencies, The Paragon remains a beloved dining spot worth revisiting.

Excellent food and service. I started with the crab claws and that was a great choice. I was surprised since the price wasn't too hefty, as it is for seafood at many other high-end places. There lettuce in the Caesar salad I had was cold and fresh. The Caesar dressing was very good - just a little tangy. The homemade croutons were seasoned well and great in the salad. I had the bone in 16 oz filet. Sides I got with it were sauteed mushrooms and a sweet potato with cinnamon butter. The steak was extremely tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The seasoning made for a perfect crust on the steak. It was one of the better steaks I've had at a restaurant. I hate most onions but I did have some of the onion straws and they were really good. My wife really liked them. Speaking of the evil onions, some people in our party got the French Onion soup and said it was excellent. I'll take their word on that, but they did look good. The baked sweet potato was yummy. The cinnamon butter made it like a dessert. The only negative is the chairs weren't comfortable. They were like old rolling office chairs. Probably supposed to be part of the charm. Not a show stopper and I look forward to my next visit there!

The Paragon is a reliable pick for a nice dinner at a good price. It has been around for decades. During my most recent visit, the food was very good, and other than forgetting to bring my order of Bernaise sauce, the service was great. I'm rating the restaurant a 4 mainly due to the dated interior. A renovation inside would elevate my rating to a 5 for sure. I'll be back.

Paragon is the best. It's worth every penny. I've never had a Steak that wasn't in that moment the best Steak I've ever had. The French Onion Soup is amazing, mandatory, and my favorite food from anywhere I've ever been. The "Paragon Supreme" is mandatory as well. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

First, since my wife needs a wheelchair - the restrooms are not accessible. We needed to use a transfer chair to get in there and she needed assistance to navigate the very tight spaces. For the food: this place is decent but itโ€™s resting on its long term customer base that keeps coming back. Its late 70โ€™s and early 80โ€™s sophistication with dark wood and dark atmosphere. The service was wonderful. The restaurant cuts corners in a few areas, maybe to maintain its high quality beef when prices for it are rising. The salad looked like it came from a grocery storeโ€™s pre washed salad mix bag. The bread, however, was excellent. The baked potatoes were no better than my kids could do. The steak was under-seasoned for me but otherwise excellent and cooked to perfection. The massive bone-in filet is shown.

Paragon is not cheap (our bill and tip was about $100 per person), and I'm okay with that because they delivered an excellent dining experience. The food, cocktails, and service were all excellent. We enjoyed their escargot, oysters Rockefeller, the prime rib, and several steaks.

Paragon's service and food has been consistently excellent for many years. In a world where everything seems to be not as good as it used to be, The Paragon continues to be as great as ever. Keep up the wonderful work you do as Centerville and the world as a whole needs you! Thank you for another memorable evening. Looking forward to the next one!

We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary here tonight and the steaks were the absolute best we have ever had. We have traveled extensively and like to get a good steak on occasion. This place just took over our personal favorite steakhouse which was in Colorado Springs from 2016. Our waitress, Catherine was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. The house-made dressing on our salads was fabulous. The bread basket warm and delicious. My husband said his creamed spinach was fantastic as were all our sides-hash browned potatoes, and mashed, and glazed baby carrots. He ordered the porterhouse and I had the bone--in filet - both seasoned and cooked to perfection. I was even able to cut my filet with the side of my fork--no knife needed!! The chocolate cake was yummy too! The old-style decor and live jazz made our anniversary extra special! We will highly recommend to everyone we know!

Bacon-Wrapped Twin Filets = ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Garlic Herb Shrimp = ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Wild Rice = ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Roasted Cauliflower = ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ Aside from its seemingly elusive carryout methods and lighting so dim it makes you wonder if you've stepped into a bat cave or Dracula's lair, The Paragon Supper Club is top-notch when it comes to its service and quality of food. The filets I ordered were absolutely perfect, with the portions of the sides being generous and just as well done. I really enjoy the variations they provide for the chef's featured dishes; because of that I rarely order from the staple menu. It can get quite pricey though, so I recommend this place for a special occasion or just a periodic evening out.
