Customer Review Summary
Texas Roadhouse offers a budget-friendly steakhouse experience with varying food quality. Diners appreciate the good value for money, especially in comparison to competitors like Longhorn. While steaks are generally solid, some items may disappoint, such as bland salads and less impressive appetizers like deviled eggs. Service is often praised, and many enjoy the warm rolls and a lively atmosphere. Takeout experiences can vary significantly; some diners have faced poor quality and underwhelming food. Overall, the restaurant is seen as a reliable choice for families but may not meet higher expectations set by other steakhouses for special occasions.

In a super competitive mid level steakhouse market, I believe Longhorn currently sets the bar. Texas Roadhouse does win on price point though as your dollar will go much further here than the competition and the experience is a good one for the value. On this, like all visits, the food is hit or miss based on what items you get. Steak is always a solid middle of the road experience and priced reasonable. Deviled eggs worth skipping since nothing special there. Salads always very basic, but do the trick as a starter. The potato is sometimes average and sometimes above average. Overall, this chain is the most budget friendly with average quality and the best prices, making it the choice for family outings. But for the best quality at a slightly higher price point and higher quality experience, I'll go with Longhorn when dining along or only as a couple.

I wish I could get my money back. The food was absolutely horrible. I got a takeout order. The salad was pathetic. Lettuce with cheese thrown on top. 4 Croutons thrown in the container. The boneless hot wings had to have been from lunchtime. They were cold and dry and the size of a dime. With literally no sauce on them for them to even be considered hot. The steak was absolutely flavorless and you can literally tell that from the picture. I hoped it could save the meal but it just made everything worse and made me angry. I literally had to season it and recook it. The only thing fresh were the rolls and the celery. Honestly, regardless if the person that gave me the food was nice, ppl go there for the food and I would never recommend this place to anyone! So much for a nice night in with a good bday dinner. Especially with this being my first time ordering from them. If this is the quality of food I receive on my first ever order....I can't expect anything better. I'll forever stick with Longhorn to go.

First time going to texas roadhouse and I was not disappointed! Service was good and they certainly don't skimp on the rolls! The salad was better than expected but I enjoyed all the food. So good I went back a 2nd time.

Sammy our waiter was great! Offered us many options, was attentive and friendly throuout our visit. Our steaks came exactly as we ordered, medium rare yet warm to the center. Very generous servings as well.

I ordered takeout on a Saturday early evening. Food was ready for pickup on time and of good quality. I had the ribs and they were "fall off the bone". My wife had the cheeseburger and said it was pretty tasty. Her only complaint was the tomato was mushy, but that may have been partly due to being in a container for 15 minutes. All in all not a bad price for takeout.

I just wish they had a lunch menu for the weekend hours. Still it was good. I enjoyed getting the onion appetizer for my birthday and adding some of it to my salad.

Haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in about 15 years. This was a better experience than the one from 15 years ago, that's for sure. The wait time was 30 minutes but I didn't get there till 6:40 p.m.. I guess that's to be expected during the dinner rush. The place was packed and they actually ended up getting me in, in about 20 minutes. I was pretty hungry so, I ordered a big combo meal. 12 oz ribeye with a half rack of barbecue ribs. I ordered medium rare on the ribeye. It was more toward medium for sure. About a third of it was pretty tough to chew, the rest of the just melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome. The Caesar salad? The dressing was pretty weak. They definitely need a new Caesar recipe or supplier. The ribs were actually incredible! Slathered with a great sauce. Fell right off the bone. Fantastic! I can't say enough about the service. It was impeccable. The manager stopped by and told me her name and two flag her down if I had any issues. There were none. The kiosk at the table made paying so easy. I know that's becoming more popular and I don't think I've seen a better one than the one at Texas Roadhouse. Kudos to the whole team! Definitely recommend this one.

Our visit to Texas Roadhouse was spot on for a random Wednesday night! 🧅 Right from the start, the Onion Bloom set the bar with its crispy, flavorful petals. The steaks were the star, especially the Ribeye, cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of smokiness 🥩🔥 The fried catfish was just what we expected with the cornmeal nice and crispy. The fresh, crisp salads were the perfect side, rounding off a meal that was as delicious as it was satisfying 🌽🥗 Service was great, making our visit even more enjoyable with the atmosphere lively and welcoming. Texas Roadhouse always delivers on all fronts as we usually know what to expect. Regulars that will continue to be Regulars! 🙌 #TexasRoadhouse #SteakLovers #WednesdayVibes
