Sonora Grill Seafood Steak Bar & Grill - Dayton

I was in Dayton for 2 days doing some work, and I came across this Gem while looking for places to eat on Google. The staff was super attentive, the food was phenomenal to say the least and the vibes were top notch. Family friendly during the day, and I saw it turns I to a lounge at night. Marcela was the waitress who tended my table and she was always making sure I was good and had everything I needed. Her and the cook both deserve massive raises.

Terrific food and very attentive (almost to the point of insistent) staff. The atmosphere was uncomfortably loud at the time I was dining despite the restaurant being only 1/4 full. This was entirely due to one party that the staff didn't seem to mind their being obnoxious.

I stopped in for the grocery store and decided to grab dinner here while I shopped. I just got some food to go, but the service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and pretty! I took the food home and it was absolutely delish! So much flavor! It’s a little pricy, but very tasty! The place has a beautiful bar and everyone was so friendly!

The food presentation was beautiful! Delicious guacamole! The drinks were amazing! We ordered a lobster with a combination of seafood piled on top. We also had raw oysters(sooo good) It was all fabulous. If you have not ate here you are missing out highly recommend.!

This Mexican restaurant is absolutely amazing. It is mainly focused on seafood and steaks. Its a hidden gem tucked away next to a grocery store. From the outside we did not expect much but once we went inside..we decided to give it a chance. Service was amazing and the food exceptional! Without hesitation, I would definitely recommend!

Greeted with Warm Tortilla Chips and Mild Salsa , which was perfect , if you are chilli lover don't hesitate to ask their chilli sauce, Fajitas chicken was good ,but I feel more spice could be added to it. Tea tastes bit different then regular Sweet Tea, Drink at your own risk. Overall good experience.

UNDERRATED! Forget about El Toro and El Rancho. They barely know how to use salt. This place is seasoned Mexican and delicious. They do have singing kareoke and bandas on certain days so come prepared for that but totally worth it. I feel like I’m in Mexico.
