I wish I could give 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t. The place is OK, service was amazing, but the food… at least my plate wasn’t appetizing. I ordered Sashimi, the fish was good, but the salad on the plate and the rice noodle was very dry. It also came with a plastic flower that I almost ate! I’d suggest if the manager reads this to put a pic of the plate on the menu and remove serving plastic, even if it is just for decoration.

Came here for a sushi dinner, not hibachi, so this review is solely from ordering off the menu. Atmosphere: dark, run down, a portion of the back was all blocked off for repair, and when we walked in 3 employees were trying repair a light issue right above the sushi bar. The booth we were seated were all ripped and table with stickiness on it. Food: extensive menu, mostly standard items for sushi restaurants, we ordered sushi, sashimi, tuna and mango bites which were pretty fresh; soft shell crab had good flavor but a little over fried; yakitori, came out with large chunks and heavy sauced definitely NOT Japanese style and the chicken came out dry; spicy tuna phoenix was ok, nothing too special just spicy tuna wrapped with avocado and the plating was a bit messy; pork gyoza came out with poor presentation and tasted so-so. Maybe my standards are a little different from others, as a foodie who has traveled and tasted many authentic Japanese restaurant. This restaurant is shame to be called a “steak house” nor a good “Japanese restaurant”. I ordered a hot sake, and it came out warm, NOT hot, and deflated, tasted as the alcohol was already half evaporated. Service: the lady who served us was very pushy, she came over almost every 3-4 min to ask us if we want to order more food after we have just ordered 7 appetizers and not all of them were even came yet. I told her several times, we will see how we feel after these appetizers, but seemed she did not understand that. We had the chopsticks wrappers place on the edge of the table for her to clean up, but till we finished dinning, she never cleaned it. Overall, we had a very unsatisfactory experience, we checked out without ordering any dinner items, just had to get out of there. Therefore, @WineDinenVacay does NOT recommend this restaurant.

Great service. Took family out for mom's 80th birthday. Her first Hibachi experience, and she loved it! Thank you, Osaka, for great food and service!

I ordered a special salmon sushi and requested it to be cooked, along with a California roll, which was delightful. The shrimp hibachi was also delicious.

We’ve never had an issue here before until tonight. My husband and I asked if we were able to split the pick 2 and our waitress said yes, no problem. We got our bill and was charged for 2 entrees and when we told her that’s not what we ordered, she told us that is what she heard and refused to do anything about it. We paid over $100 for our meal that was wrong. She was very rude. Then we get our bill and there was an automatic gratuity charged to our bill…for a party of 2. We’ve NEVER had that happen before. I don’t believe we will be coming back. I am very upset.

Ordered for carry out. Spouse is allergic to avocado so specifically ordered the buckeye roll that does not list avocado as an ingredient. Got the food home and sure enough there’s avocado all over. Called to see if this is the right roll and the staff ARGUED with me about what I was directly looking at and I read exactly what their online menu says for the buckeye roll to them. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Be careful ordering from here and make sure you confirm what they believe an item is vs what they advertise.

Food has declined in this place over the year. I understand the rising cost but the menu prices more than cover the cost of the business. Service was pretty much non existing we had a large party so they knew they were getting their gratuity. Half of the party had drinks and before the other half had drinks. We had apps before we had drinks, we finally got drinks before the other half had apps and Vise versa half the party was completely done eating before the chef even came out to start cooking for the other half. It was my daughter's bday so it made for an awkward situation waiting on the other half to do cake. In a nut shell these places have became very greedy and not matching the service to the prices.
