Been going to HH since I was a little boy (56now) I was very disappointed. I always get the 20oz. Now no 20oz. And the porterhouse I had was not very good. The barbecue sauce does in no way taste like it use too. And then there is the prices. Way too for the quality. Texas Roadhouse is better now. Never thought I would say that.

We celebrated a small occasion here and had a wonderful time. I went with the ribs, and she went with the porterhouse. Both really good! Great service!

Can be a very long wait but it's worth it! Building is very historical, small bar and multiple rooms to eat in. The food was amazing. We got steak, ribs and shrimp. All amazing, the steaks was super tinder

I love this restaurant and the family that has continued to keep the quality of the food, friendly atmosphere, and the excellent service! We had lunch last week and the broasted chicken, as always it was amazing! ❤️ I highly recommend you try it as soon as possible, you can't go wrong. The shrimp cocktail, and salad dressing, are a perfect start to a perfect lunch or dinner. Steak is even better than the chicken, except maybe the barbecue chicken, or ribs! 😋 ❤️ 🥂🍾🥃🍷🍸🍹The front room is a waiting area with a well stocked bar. The drinks are served the same friendly yet professional service as the restaurant.

Great place, the broasted chicken and ribs were great. The hostess and servers were nice. While it's small, it did not feel crowded in the dining area. The bar space did seem small though.

Like taking a step back in time. This is the just about the last of Daytons old guard restaurants. And they are keeping true to there roots and traditions. God bless them. Anyone under the age of 45 won't know what I mean. But that's OK. Stop in here and experience what dining out in Dayton used to feel like. 👍

Been here a few times over the years, I’d never go back but my wife likes the blue cheese dressing which is pretty good, but if you want dry ribs that the little bit of meat doesn’t come off the bone, this would be the place to go.
