Amazing experience! We had a table of four to celebrate a birthday. The server was super attentive and patient with every request. The menus had a birthday message printed for us. The Japanese A5 Wagyu was excellent and the appetizers, desserts, and drinks were perfect! My friends and I were very impressed with the entire experience. We will all be returning soon!

An unforgettable night out would be an understatement. I will be honest, we went tonight because we absolutely adore the GM, Walter Carpenter, but we will return for Walter, and so so much more. Our server Porter was kind, attentive, hilarious, and a wealth of knowledge. Our water glasses were always full, thanks to the people who came to fill them every few minutes. Our seafood tower was not only a visual masterpiece, but was also fresh and delicious. We both had steaks cooked to our liking and shareable sides that were rich and wonderful. We finished the night with an entire dessert platter, but the butter cake is truly the only dessert you need (okay and an espresso martini) we couldn’t be more impressed or more happy to be back supporting our best guy. Go see him and experience this masterpiece for yourself.

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My first time at Mastro’s, and it did not disappoint! From start to finish, the service was phenomenal—attentive, seamless, and truly top-notch. The steak was, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Columbus—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The live music added a great ambiance, making the experience even more special. While it is on the pricey side, the quality and experience make it absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back for the steak!

My wife and I recently checked out Mastros, and it definitely lived up to the high-end experience we were hoping for. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed—the place looks amazing, with a stylish, upscale vibe that makes it perfect for a special night out. For dinner, I went with the Chilean sea bass, and my wife had the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly—flavorful, tender, and beautifully presented. We also ordered asparagus and mac and cheese as sides. The asparagus was great—nicely seasoned with a bit of char—but the mac and cheese was pretty bland. If you’re going for mac and cheese, I’d suggest trying the lobster mac and cheese instead for some extra flavor. Dessert was the highlight of the night. We ordered the cherry crisp, and it was incredible—warm, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The vanilla bean ice cream and homemade whipped cream took it to the next level.

The elevated service is phenomenal and the attention to detail is on point. I recognize everyone’s still settling to a new restaurant and for the most part you couldn’t tell. But at times the attention to detail and service was executed in a way that didn’t feel natural. The bread service was great with the rye being our favorite. The cocktails were nicely sized and tasted great. The table side pours are a nice touch but not needed for everything. Great wine selection. The mashed potatoes and corn could have used some more flavor. The steaks, lobster Mac, mushrooms, crab cakes, and meatballs were all amazing and would order them over and over. We ordered dessert and got to sample a few things. Everything was really great from the chocolate covered strawberries to the butter cake (my personal favorite). The decor and atmosphere were elevated. The live music was amazing. We didn’t realize she was live singing at first. She’s a great performer. Having a large bar with bar seating and live music naturally bar conversation is going to get loud. This is the detriment of those dining around the bar. Not sure how much can be done about this and it did it get much better after a lively bunch left. Last piece of feedback - please get a different color hue of flashlight for spotlighting the food at the table. You have this wonderful ambience and warm lighting and then ruin it was this bright white beam of light.

I really want to give this place 5 star rating but our food came out not what we ordered we didn’t want to complain about our order because we didn’t want to wait. I ordered mastros house salad and my husband ordered a bone in 12 oz and came out I had the caesar salad and my husband had the fillet 12 oz don’t get me wrong the food was really good but for the amount we spent and something we didn’t ordered was disappointing and I just realized our server didn’t even pay attention that our food was not right.

For our complimentary dessert, we shared a giant butter cake and it was soft, warm, and melts in your mouth! It's expensive, but it's worth every penny! 10 out of 10!

The trainers were still present and they were all nice. The drinks were strong and the food was excellent. It was busy and that did not take away from anything. We ordered the 22oz Ribeye, The 8oz Filet, creamy mashed potatoes and broccolini. For desert we had cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries. We will be back!
