Had an amazing dining experience at Jeff Ruby. The service, food, drinks and vibe were outstanding from start to finish. Definitely a place to visit if you’re in Ohio. Highly recommend getting the sushi. The fish is super fresh and full of flavor. Some other stand out dishes were the Pork Chop and Garlic Parm Fries. For dessert: Butter Pie & the Peach Sorbet were incredible. Shout out to Anthony and Nick for the great service. Will definitely be returning!

We came here for my 50th birthday earlier this week and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was awesome, the food was great, and the wine was excellent. We reserved the Buckeye Room, which was for a larger party and I would highly recommend this room as it was a wonderful experience.

Took my daughter here last night to celebrated being selected for the Franklin County Veterans Commission. The level of service from Rachel and their staff was unmatched. Can’t say enough about their customer service. They made us feel special! Thank you! Can’t beat the steak & lobster. Just wish the daughter would get would order something more than their burger. Which she loved. Mash potatoes are so creamy! Outstanding experience!

🍸EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED 🍸 I’m truly saddened to see the quality at Jeff Ruby’s going downhill. I usually visit twice a year, but the last two experiences have been very disappointing. Here’s what I ordered this time: • King & Caviar: 10/10 – Absolutely perfect. • Steak & Lobster: 5/10 – I requested medium-rare, but it was served medium-well. The burrow sauce was overly salty. But the lobster was good. • Cowboy Ribeye: 6.5/10 – Over-charred to the point where all I could taste was charcoal. It was also slightly overcooked. • Asparagus: No flavor, tough to chew, and they forgot to bring it out, until I talked with the manager. It took 45 minutes for the main dishes to arrive. As for the service, the server seemed not good mood and unmotivated, giving the impression they didn’t care about their work. They offered us free dessert but we just want to get out of there 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is one of those restaurants you only go to during special occasions because it is VERY expensive. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for. It all starts with a long stairway leading you to an exquisite dining experience. For a place of this level, I’m surprised that they don’t have a cloakroom and I had to shove my wet umbrella under my seat. At other extremely high dining places, they have taken it and my jacket from me. Inside is beautifully decorated with chandeliers and drapery. The table service is very good, almost too good. You are unable to get through the menu yourself before the server recites the whole thing for you. I understand the appeal but personally, I like to digest the menu myself. The food is fantastic, you don’t want it to end. If you are there for a special occasion, they bring a dessert-tasting plate for free. The parking is terrible street parking, as you can imagine with it being downtown. I highly recommend this place for all your special occasions.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left. SERVICE WAS AMAZING!!! Our waitress Erin was absolutely delightful! :) Guided us thru the menu, the specials, great recommendations and the history of the restaurant. Dinner started with a Britney spritz, Italian margarita Caesar salad, and pork wings!! 10 out of 10!!!!!🤤 Entree was Cowboy Ribeye with Collinsworth (asparagus, bordelaise, and red crab)w Sides were Mac n Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious! Steak temp was perfect! I couldn’t even finish all the delicious food to order desert!! 10 out of 10 and I will be back again🥰

We celebrated our one-year anniversary dinner here last night, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely exquisite; we both chose the Steak Collinsworth, and the sauce was so delicious that I’m determined to get the recipe! The staff truly went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel cherished throughout the evening. Since we don’t dine out often, it was a wonderful treat for us. To top it all off, they surprised us with a delightful anniversary dessert at the end of our meal. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to celebrate our special day!

Excellent experience. It was comparable to our visit at The Precinct a couple years ago. The oysters rockefeller was excellent. The cowboy ribeye and lobster tails were cooked perfectly. The mac n cheese was delicious and the butter pie was the perfect ending to our dinner. We sat at the bar and Jack was our bartender/server. He was very attentive and personable. We cannot wait to return to the area and visit again!
