Service is noted as excellent by several reviewers, praising specific staff members for their attentiveness and care, particularly in the takeout area. The food is very good & the service is great. The Chicken Francais is delicious but it's not worth the price in my opinion. I wouldn't order it again but I'll try something else next time. White French dressing is the best anywhere but side salads are skimpy. Rolls are yummy. Dessert choices are plentiful & the cheese wedges are very tasty.

I ate here as a kid growing up in the 80’s 90’s in the Falls and made a trip in for dinner. It’s always hard to squeeze restaurants in day trip and finally made it back to this one. It did not disappoint from memory. The moment I tasted that house White French salad dressing was like a time warp right back. It’s truly a unique and very tasty dressing. There’s nothing quite like it. The fresh dinner roll pipping hot and glistening with hot melted butter just melts into the mouth. I ordered the Chicken Francaise for my entree. It had a little bit too much butter for me personally, but it was still good. I think next time I will go for the Chicken Parmigiana. My brother had a dish with their marinara sauce in it and it was fantastic. The service was excellent. Micheal was all over the place and doing a great job with each of his guest. He even assisted an elder guest with an oxygen tank by wheeling their tank for them. All with out skipping a beat or missing a thing. He did a fantastic job. The carry out section is wonderful. A definite must stop in. I got a piece of cake on the way out. (It was unbelievably good) I think it’s great you can buy their salads and dressing, plus other salads, appetizers, sandwiches and entrees right there. The employees in the take away area were also very helpful and friendly.

DANIEL was amazing at assisting me today. I’ve been coming here for over 7 years since I moved to the Valley. My review is centered around the take out / side entrance. Papa Joe’s is known best for their phenomenal wine selection and authentic tasting Italian food made with the ‘secret sauce’ that leaves you wanting more!

I love ordering seafood at Italian restaurants. While this was good, it wasn’t amazing. The chef prepares the fish medium, I prefer it well done. A heads up would’ve been nice to avoid having to send it back and wait an extra 10 mins. Beyond the temperature, the fish was pretty fishy tasting, greasy, and lacked seasoning. Love Papa Joes so we will definitely be back, we just won’t be getting the fish! Not pictured: the Veal Marsala which was excellent!

First time at Papa Joe's in a few years. The service was timely, especially for how busy they were. The food was great all around. We even got two appetizers. The steak was very delicious and the dessert was awesome! A very great treat to have for a fine dining experience.

Located not far from University of Akron is Papa Joe's. We went there after graduation on Mother's Day. It was packed! They had a limited menu due to the holiday and I must say I was not impressed. The chicken was grisely on several of the dishes, the sauce was too sweet and the pasta was drowning in it. The White Sangria was tasty as well as the salmon. After living in Italy twice, this would not be one of my top rated places for Italian food.

My first experience here and might be my last. Our service was not great at all. We didn’t have to wait to long to get water, but by the time I got my glass of wine that I ordered when we asked for waters, all of our water was gone, it took about 30 minutes for us to put in our appetizer order. By the time we got our appetizer we had been there for an hour. Our water glasses were empty most of the time we were there. I can’t even blame the server, seems like she was sat too many tables and just couldn’t give a good experience to us, as she was running around table to table. Any time she did stop at the table she walked away before we could even ask her for anything. It’s hard to give good service when you have too many tables and can’t keep up. The baked Brie appetizer was amazing, the salad was amazing. I also ordered the lobster ravioli and before we even left my stomach was upset. The lobster in the ravioli was a bit too fishy, seemed like it maybe wasn’t fresh. I would return for the food but the service ruined the experience. We were also celebrating my grandmas birthday but I didn’t even get to mention it to the server because I couldn’t find her and she would leave the table before I could get a word out.

We had dinner last night with our friends that absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Now I can see why! Everything was delicious from the beginning to end! From the delightful espresso martinis and crafted cocktails to the warm buttery rolls, to our appetizers of smoked provolone and sauerkraut balls,(DELICIOUS!) the side salad with white french dressing (IT’S A MUST GET!) and of course our entrees! (THE PORK CHOP WAS SO JUICY AND FLAVORFUL!) But wait a minute! Let’s not forget about the dessert people! (THE TIRAMISU WAS TOP TIER!) The inside was very nice and just had that warm and cozy feeling! Not to mention we had the most adorable waitress ever! I didn’t catch her name but she took excellent care of us and made us feel so welcomed! If you haven’t tried it yet, whew you’re missing out! Cannot wait to come back!!!
