This was our first time at Iron Grill. Our server, Rachel, was not only welcoming, cheerful and respectful, but also made sure that she helped us pick the best items from the menu based on our dietary restrictions. She was quick with her recommendations and always checked in with us once the food was brought out. And as expected, her recommendations were the best, the food tasted delicious, was served fresh and hot and quantities were amazing as well. All in all, this place definitely provided us with the best service. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Akron area. The staff is super nice and helpful. You’ll enjoy the vibe 10/10.

A group of us from out of town were looking for a local casual restaurant with delicious steaks and came across Iron Grill in my search. They took our reservation for 15 people same day with no problems. The staff was phenomenal as soon as we walked in the door. Our fantastic server went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The steaks were cooked to perfection and I definitely recommend the mac & cheese!! Don't skip out on the cocktails and desserts either. Cheesecake and brownie were delicious.

I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. The Parmesan Risotto and the Strawberry Whiskey Smash. My husband had the Rodeo Burger and fries. We also had the hot chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle. (No picture) The bacon is thick and smoky, great taste, but no crispness. The chicken was tender and not dry. The batter was light, which was nice. I really dislike having chicken with over powering batter or breading on it. Then spending half my dinner taking it apart. The Risotto was flat tasting. I added salt and it was much better. Just as a side note, I am not the biggest fan of salt. The strawberry in the drink was so smashed up that I wondered if I needed a strainer to drink it. I wished it was more whiskey, less sugar. But that's my preference. It was very sweet. My husband wanted the bacon to be crisp at least a little. He thought it would have made the sandwich more enjoyable. The hot chocolate cake was great. It's not a thick piece, but approximately 5" in length. It had 4 small scoops of ice cream with chocolate and caramel drizzle. Plenty for sharing. The restaurant was cold. I heard others complain about the temperature also. We had to wear our jackets.

Went with a small work group. I'm vegetarian, so about the only thing on the menu was the Bavarian pretzels. They came out and were actually sticks, but they were deep fried instead of baked. Very strange. Took one bite and all I could taste was fish.

It was our first time here and we met with friends for dinner. Nicely decorated for the holidays and roomy. My french dip sandwich was delicious on a fulfy ciabatti roll! The majority of the menu is well priced compared to other places. We'll definitely be back.

Today was our second visit. We came back because the first visit was awesome. I love the cobb salad and risotto. Hubby got the grouper sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings were fantastic, and the breading on them is very flavorful. We will definitely be back!

I wanna start by saying, everyone needs to really support our local restaurants during these tough times. This place was incredible. We arrived at nearly the time they opened the door. We had a sweet waitress who was training but you can tell she's going to be great with how attentive she was and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. I have to give a special shout out to the mashed potatoes balls as they were incredible and the homemade hand breaded chicken tenders. The food all came out quickly and we couldn't have had better service. The price was right on the money, just be aware how many appetizers you are ordering because they're the size of a meal too.

Very quiet, service was great(wasn't very many people in the dining$ room), the food was remarkable! I expected far less being Springfield and all, but, we left pleasantly surprised and highly satisfied! Definitely a hidden gem of Gala Commons! Keep it up! We will definitely return!
