Food was delicious and the service was awesome. We got there within 45 min of closing and felt welcomed and not rushed the entire time. Food was all great as well.

First time and will definitely be coming back!! We had the smoked bologna sandwich, shrimp tacos and birria tacos and the dip trio nachos appetizer. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh!! The menu has a nice variety of food from tacos to hamburgers to fresh salads and more so it’s easy to accommodate any palate. Our server David was incredible!! He kept our glasses full and was so very pleasant!! I would highly recommend!

Came here with the family and had an absolutely amazing time. David was an amazing server and always checking on us. The food was fantastic, even my picky kids ate all of their food. We will be coming back.

We visited Twisted Pine on our anniversary celebration and were so impressed. David was very helpful without hovering. His personality is perfect for a waiter: cheerful, willing to offer suggestions, and kind. I ordered Shrimpy Tacos and sweet potato fries, which was absolutely perfection. My husband ordered a mushroom smash burger, and also got the sweet potato fries. We enjoyed the honey mustard dip to go with the fries. The portion sizes were generous, yet not huge. They felt very well sized. I recommended it to someone immediately, and will recommend it again. David offered us brownies and ice cream, which we accepted. Warm brownies with cold ice cream can't really be beat, and these were amazing. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Twisted Pine with my coworkers, eager to try a new spot in downtown Winston Salem. The restaurant is in a great location and offers designated parking, which is a rare and welcome convenience for a downtown venue. The atmosphere at Twisted Pine is delightful, and we opted to sit outside, enjoying some much-needed sunlight after being in our cold office. The menu looked promising with a variety of sides beyond the standard options. I decided to go with the Mushroom Punch Burger, accompanied by sweet potato fries. The portion sizes were generous, and the lunch was filling. However, I felt that my burger lacked a bit of tang and flavor. Adding more pickles helped, but it seemed like it needed a little extra kick, perhaps mustard or more seasoning. My coworkers shared a similar sentiment about their meals. While the food didn’t quite hit the mark for us this time, the overall experience was pleasant thanks to the nice ambiance and prompt service. I’m not ready to write off Twisted Pine based on one visit and would consider giving it another try in the future. If you’re looking for a new spot downtown with a nice atmosphere and good service, I’d recommend giving Twisted Pine a try and forming your own opinion.

This was first time going here and the food was great. Especially the nachos they were my favorite. The shrimp tacos are also very good. Our server was David and he had lots of good energy and we got our food pretty fast.

Both David and the food were awesome! Fast service, flavorful and high-quality food, as well as affordable prices - can't beat it! 10/10 would recommend.

Very underwhelming. Came here for a little lunch date with my husband. The place is clean and decorated nicely. The place wasn’t full when we got here but our food took a while to come out. When it did the food was lukewarm at best. Being a waitress myself I try to be easy with my waiters, and I left it alone. I got the birria tacos with Mac and cheese as my side. I love Mac and cheese but as you can see from the picture, it was very dry. I ask for some type of salsa, I got tacos hence salsa is needed. I was offered sriracha. I declined. The meat was tender but even with the consome it was very BLAND. That’s the best way I can describe it, even my husband who got the mushroom punch burger said that it was missing something, the punch perhaps! The location alone doesn’t make a whole restaurant. And as divers a W-S is getting I suggest they bring a little more SAZÓN to the food. This place knows who their customer base is, and are doing just fine with that. I was very excited since they are the same people that own young cardinal and I love that place!
