Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

My family surprised me with a dinner out for my birthday. They know that I love Japanese food and especially hibachi. When we were seated, it took almost 20 minutes before the waiter came to take our order. It took almost another 15 minutes to get our drinks. I ordered a drink but never got it. There was a live roach that crawled out of the sushi roll. The waiter looked at my daughter and rolled his eyes when the cook handed him the plate. The manager came over and asked if she brought it from home as if it were funny. The cook was very nice and had a great attitude. We will never go back there again. We almost walked out, and I wish we had.

Can you imagine finding a roach in your soup and the only person to apologize is the bartender! I would have thought a manager would have come to me to apologize and offer some kind of compensation. Nope she simply cancelled our food order and walked away. We still had to pay $35 for two drinks that were overpriced to begin with. Someone needs to get a grip of the bartender and the kitchen. This place is dirty and overpriced! We aren’t from here but two years ago when we did visit it seemed good but we definitely won’t be coming back. From the looks of it this place is packed for dinner so I pray no one gets sick eating from here. Consumers BEWARE!!!!🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑

You have to visit Max at the bar, he makes surprise drinks 🍹 that cater to your taste buds. Yum. The chef gave a nice show I love the volcano onion. The food was perfectly balanced & presentation was entertaining.

I do love this place been eating her for years. The sushi is about as good as it gets for Winston. Service is great and the wait times aren't too long. You get your money's worth.

I messed up my reservation for my daughter’s 13th birthday and we go here every year. The gentleman squeezed in a party of 11 with only an hour wait, which is incredible for a walk in on a Saturday night. He was so kind. Our server Bailey was fabulous with the four kids with us all while making sure the adults were having a good time. Food was delish. Thank you Tokyo!!

They were not accommodating at all except for the fact that the manager was so "gracious" to let us go into their cafe area to do the cake after dinner. We get into the cafe, the manager greeted us and said we could've done it at the table? What? When we asked for forks and a knife, they brought out a butter knife and 2 plastic forks. There were 9 of us. This was a "birthday" place for us, we've spent thousands there over the years. This was sadly our last dinner there. The place has drastically gone down hill in quality in the last couple of years.

HORRIBLE!! I am PISSED! Worst customer service I have EVER had! I ordered chicken and steak hibachi with shrimp appetizer, salad, vegetables, noodles, and FRIED rice. I also ordered a California roll with spicy mayo. I walked in and ordered all this off the menu. I was told it would be about 25 minutes. After an hour and 23 minutes, I finally get my food. First, it's COLD! There are barely any noodles, no veggies at all, the steak had so much fat on most pieces, and all white rice BURNT. The sushi was like rubber and a slimy feeling. To top it all off, I asked for my receipt because the price just didn't add up.. they refused to give me the breakdown receipt. They would only give the one I sign that just has the total. DO NOT GO!! Go to mazuri or umi.. much better service and food!!!
