Timmy’s Hot Chicken

I ordered the hot chicken tenders with fries, Mac n cheese and cheerwine bbq sauce. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. I will say if your spice tolerance is low don’t go for hot go for medium because the spice is no joke.

Awesome food!! Just a warning tho - Medium is hotter than regular Buffalo hot you get from most places. I like hot but WOW🥵 We tried the wings and thighs, fries and collards. Fries were hot crispy and well seasoned. Now I’m a collard snob…these were exceptionally good, but as expected, hot! Hubs loved it and It was satisfying to watch him devour those wings like an absolute savage. It was that good. On top in that, the entire staff was hustling the whole time, great sense of humor and hospitality, and excellent service. Even the guy bussing tables was really sweet and engaging, and very quick on his feet to keep everything tidy. This was our first time in, during a very busy convention nearby and we had an excellent experience!

I’m someone who’s not a fan of fried chicken, but I did appreciate my Timothy’s sandwich. The Mac cheese was also pretty good. It’s a great place for a quick lunch. If you eat a little bit spicy regularly, you can definitely handle the hot level of spiciness.

AMAZING FOOD okay not a great first experience, but the food is so good I’ll try again! I got The Timmy with Beyond Meat (which I’m sooooo thankful they have!) and my girl got The Timothy with tenders and they mixed up our meats, so they tried to give me real meat 😭 I’m not super picky, so we just swapped the meat and then my sandwich was sooooo good!! We also got mimosas for $5 sundays, they were heavy with the champagne, but I recommend Also they warned us it would be a long wait when we first sat, so that’s nice, but they a larger group came in after us and they got their food before us?? Like I said I’m still gonna give it another chance. There’s also a to go counter!

The ladies working was extremely friendly, answering all of me and my buddies questions about their interesting restaurant. The interior is quirky and unique with old school tunes playing. We both got The Timothy sandwich, tenders with medium heat. We also got a plate of cod in medium to split. The chicken sandwich was huge and delicious! All the ingredients meshed so well with the fantastic chicken. My mouth waters just thinking about it! The cod was also fantastic and was flaking apart and had more spicy kick than the chicken. Glad I only went medium because much hotter and I would have needed a beer, lol. Can't wait to go back next year!

UPDATE REVIEW: BACK AGAIN and food was Soo great n tried some new stuff this time!!! It was Soo good this place is must try!!!! I been here every time we have a conference!!! Great service and the food is just as great!! And prices are not that bad also!!!

It’s taking me a little longer to eat the Nashville hot chicken and waffle because the hot is actually hot and I was raised on spice. But it’s well seasoned crispy and tender thigh meat. The waffle and syrup is also very good. The mac and cheese n better than most places but a sharper cheese and a crustier crust would set this over the top

I thought the chicken was flavorful. The sides were great, the greens were vinegary, not really my thing, but my wife loved them. Mac and cheese was on point. the got the hot level chicken, didn't feel any burn, but again it was tasty. I may jump to the hottest level next time, there is also a challenge for you spicelords out there. the ranch and blue cheese were on point, felt homemade that's a plus. Oh and don't forget the banana pudding, truly magnificent.
