If you rate a restaurant based on all factors within a business from A-Z, then this place is the best restaurant in Winston all the way around! Every time we come the food is exquisite, perfect quality, very tasty and enjoyable as well as satisfying! The staff is so friendly and attentive and it’s neat to watch them communicate well and work as a team! They all work together to make things happen here! We have NEVER had a bad server, food or experience here! They have a nice seating area outside to enjoy the outdoors as well and bar to sit at and inside as well that’s nice and clean. The staff also works to keep things clean and they are always hustling when I see them. Great place! I’m also not a burger person but they have the best burger I have ever had! It’s so good I crave it, went again today to have one! Emma is also very nice and easy to talk to there as well! While sitting to eat they brought an urn full of soda water to keep me refreshed while eating also.

The hostess was arrogant rude and unfriendly. She offered us the bar area which was facing the wall with 4 chairs or that we could sit outside. I asked if we could wait for an inside table and she rolled her eyes that the earliest she would have a table would be 8:30. I totally understand how reservations work but I also understand sometimes people don’t show up or cancel and that you can be kind about things when saying no. The little alcove deck was a beautiful place to sit up and a little bit away from the street with the fresh flowers and fountain. I really enjoyed the meatloaf green beans and Mac and cheese was yummy. I hesitated to leave a negative review but hopefully this feedback will lead to some coaching for her to realize that customers are the reason she gets a paycheck, and a welcoming smile and attitude can go a long way.

Food was piping hot and delicious. Several gluten friendly and vegetarian options. I got the shrimp and grits, the best grits I have recently. Mom got the meatloaf which she says is the best restaurant meatloaf ever. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was excellent, the waiter kept our glasses full. Even the chairs were comfy.

We sat at the bar tonight and felt like we had a personalized home chef experience. The waitress Lauren was excellent. The chef asked us about our meal several times. Such a wonderful experience and great service! We will be back! Thank yall! Food was delicious

Tonight's dinner, the last on this trip, was at Mozelle's, who served refined southern cuisine. We started with Fried Summer Squash paired with a malted aioli. The cook on the squash inspired a warm and close to my heart taste memory of the summer evenings of my youth, when my mom used to pan fry squash, sometimes fresh from what dad grew, when he had a vegetable garden. It was a truly beautiful thing. We also tried the Peach Panzanella Salad. It was so well balanced, light, and delicious...sourdough croutons, lightly pickled red onions, creamy feta, fresh, summery peaches, ripe, juicy cherry tomatoes, and a sherry vinaigrette. Every meal should start this way. Dad had the meatloaf made with apple brandy beef, local pork, havarti, and a tomato marmalade, served with new potatoes and spicy collards. I had a Korean fried, bone-in Porterhouse Porkchop with a hosin barbecue sauce and kimchi rice. Again, I was taken back to childhood as the porkchop was cooked so very close to the way my mom made them. That flavor...it's been too long since I enjoyed one that was so close to hers. It was one of my most favorite things she made. Most surely, it was a very memorable and delightful meal this evening...

We had a delightful lunch at Mozelle Café! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly. The menu offered fresh and flavorful dishes. I especially loved the fried pickles and the burrata & fired roasted tomato salad. The fried goat salad with blackened salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mozelle Café is definitely a hidden gem.

Really enjoyed our last minute lunch. We weren’t able to make a reservation, but the hostess graciously offered to see us at the bar. And that time another table became available and she sat there instead. My friend and I had a delicious meal of the southern eggrolls… I would say they don’t look as good as they taste, but they were delicious. Then I had a spring bowl with fried tofu on top, and a delicious green goddess type dressing. My friend had that southern meatloaf with collard greens and she loved that as well. The atmosphere is fresh and fun, with peppy lime green chairs, as well as fun bistro meets mid century modern café.
