The Moravian-pecan crusted salmon is my favorite salmon dish of all time. Cooked to perfection, and the sauce balances out the whole thing. Everything we've had here has tasted great. Even the rolls are delicious, which tells me they care about every part of the meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I can’t emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. I started with the Frogmore Stew, which was bursting with flavors and packed with fresh shrimp, scallops, mussels, and sausage. It was the perfect blend of ingredients and truly a standout dish! Next, I tried the Pork Chop with collard greens, and it did not disappoint. The perfectly grilled pork was juicy and flavorful, and the collard greens complemented it beautifully. For dessert, I indulged in their cheesecake, which was creamy and decadent, a true sweet treat to end my meal on a high note. And let me not forget the fried calamari – it was crispy, tender, and served with a delightful dipping sauce that was just the right amount of sweet and tangy. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was exceptional, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes from their enticing menu. Whether you’re in the mood for Southern flavors or fresh seafood, this place has it all! Highly recommended!

Pretty solid stuff. I ordered the sirloin and it was basically perfect. Fried green tomatoes were perfect… and I’m not even a huge fan of tomatoes in the first place. Attentive staff, great drinks, and good atmosphere. The only reason I’m taking off one star is due to whatever happened with a couple of our dishes that had scallops in them. I’m not sure if the scallops went bad or had some sort of food-grade additive on them, but the scallops tasted like rubbing alcohol. Not an exaggeration. When we mentioned this to our server, the managers were very attentive and took a sample of both scallop dishes to test them out, and offered a replacement of either the entire dish or more shrimp to replace the scallops. Never figured out what was wrong with them in the end but the rest of the dish was just fine. I’m not saying to avoid the scallops, as it was likely just a bad batch! It was a great show of care from the restaurant and I would recommend this place regardless.

It was a nice restaurant, and the food was pretty good. Our service was good. Our only complaint is that it was a bit too dark. But overall we had a lovely time.

Great dinner spot in Winston Salem! Whether a date night or business dinner this restaurant has impressed each time. Classic fare like great steak and some unique Southern items like fried green tomatoes, shrimp & grits, pot roast or a hearty meatloaf, but also tasty crab cakes and vegetarian items are available - see the rice and veggies entree pictured. The NY cheesecake and chocolate torte were so good they did not last long enough to picture! Staff was professional and overall atmosphere seemed very private even though it was busy each time visited. Convenient off S Stratford Rd and plenty of parking.

Uncle Michael took us here and told us all about how amazing this place is and boy was he right. This was an all around fantastic experience. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals to the last bite. The steaks were perfect, the salmon was fresh, the vegetables and appetizers were delicious. The service was great too.

Overall good experience with 1 exception... $6.25 for a domestic beer. Our 1st visit and we really enjoyed the food, 5 stars! Used Open Table for reservation, seated immediately in high top in bar then moved to actual bar hoping for quicker service. Service was good but SLOW, not to mention 2 waiters for bar. Really, pop the top, $6.25? We have eaten at much more expensive restaurants and never paid $6.25 for a beer. Such a waste that you have a great place to go eat with great food and choose to rip people off the would like to relax and have a simple beer. 4 beers was 27% of our bill, we had 4 plates of food and was enough for 2 to go boxes. We drive from Statesville to eat all around but not sure if we will come back, if so....water only. FYI..left review on Open Table which sent to Milner's but no response.

As someone from Compton, I’m going to say this- The fried chicken was on point! The staff are professional and at the same time funny as hell. The manager for the evening greeted me warmly and I was seated immediately (mind you I made a reservation, and came at my appointed time). Kat is an amazing waitress, and the bartenders Joe and Trent are very knowledgable and helped me pick some great beer. You should definitely check this gem out.
