Customer Review Summary
Mixed reviews for Hero House highlight both positive and negative experiences. Customers enjoyed the flavorful chicken parmesan sandwich and the comfortable seating. The atmosphere is quaint, with a varied menu featuring classic deli offerings. However, some patrons were disappointed with portion sizes, particularly in salads and sandwich meats. Staff friendliness received some criticism, and pricing was considered a bit high for certain items. Overall, there are attractions like sweet tea and dessert options, but consistency in portioning and service could be improved.

Ordered 2 Chef Salad and received more lettuce and cheese than any meat. What’s the point of a chef salad.??? This is ridiculous. Called and spoke with Kelly and she stated owe it’s just the portions we place on it. What portion. Not expecting it to be full of meat but can I taste some with the lettuce and cheese? Asked for manager and there not one on duty?? I eat here all the time and I’ve never had any of the salad look like this . Really irritated I drive all the way over there for this.

Old-school sandwich shop that's been in place for decades, and with good reason. Big menu of classic deli offerings. And the best sweet tea in town!

I had never been here before and was craving a chicken parm sandwich, so I picked up some food to take home. Even though it took me 15 minutes to get home, my food was still hot and fresh! The chicken was SO flavorful I found myself wondering if the marinara and cheese were overkill, I could have eaten a hero of just this chicken! Fries were pretty standard, but they taste fresh cut (not sure if they are). 10 *'s and I'll definitely be back! 😊

This used to be the best place to get subs but they skimp on their meats now and have went up in their prices. The meat serving was light and didn’t cover but a little more than 1/2 the sandwich. I have tried them several times and each time the same. I will go less often or not at all. Staff can also be a little friendlier.

The booth seat was SO COMFY and bouncy. Was happy as soon as I sat down after ordering. Food was great and they have crushed up ice for their drinks! I love crushed ice! I enjoyed eating here w my husband 😋😄

A great find! Quaint and cute atmosphere, although could use a little freshening up. Was craving a cheesesteak tho, and this was great. The menu varied and had some interesting entrees with Italian Greek flair. Was there around 1pm and was slightly busy which was not an issue for us. Got the BIG 15 inch cheesesteak with onion pepper cheese and added mayo. Great tasting meat and cheese, yummy fresh veg but was not the best of breads.....being honest. Fries were great but not the best onion rings. They had a thick bland coating which I thought better for fish. The place was clean, even the bathrooms. Will def go again and recommend to try. The 15 inch was big enough for two btw. Pricing was a little high on the big subs, but worth it. I think I may try one of the entrees next time. The staff was young but nice. The food did seem to take around 10-11 minutes but expected that. 5 star!! I almost forgot the cake!! Got a slice of beautiful carrot cake at $6. Was very good frosting but the cake seemed to have a bit too much going on and needed to focus more on cakin'!! Lol...

8c large cheese steak with fried zucchini sticks is the jam. Provolone cheese is better on it. So ask for different cheese.iy comes with american. It was so big I split it with the wife. You can't go wrong eating here for a quick bite.
