Such a great experience. My husband and I had reservations at 6pm. The service was great and quick. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet, clean. We had the brisket queso which was amazing. The rolls were hot, and so soft!! Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse who?!?! My husband had the steak and shrimp w/ smoke mac and cheese(not pictured) but he enjoyed it. Restaurants hardly get Mac and cheese right but this was so good. I had the shrimp and artichoke pasta….AMAZINGz. The drinks were good as well. We were out by 7pm. Can’t wait to come back and try the crab-cakes and a couple other things that sounded so good.

Great Food, But Be Ready to Wait Had a mostly great experience at this restaurant, especially if you’re a steak lover. Their steaks are easily a 4/5—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bread was also a standout, fresh and perfectly baked. For the quality of the food, the price felt fair and justified. The one drawback? The service was slow. It took quite a while for someone to take our drink orders, even longer to place our food order, and the food itself took a while to come out. If they could tighten up the service, this place would easily be 5 stars. But if you have the time and patience, it’s worth the wait!

The restaurant was too dark, I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu because the menu was dark. We ordered two appetizers, a salad and fried pickles. The salad came quickly, however the fried pickles were brought to the table until after the entrées. The server claimed that the ticket for the fried pickles was lost. They both were on the same ticket. Another one of my friends ordered cheeseburger and fries. however, the cheeseburger was burnt and the fries were cold. The service in my opinion was not really that great.

We ordered take out and were so disappointed in the experience. The food was cold even though it was picked up at the stated time. The way the food was packaged the steak juices leaked into the Mac and cheese and made the corn dog bites soggy. Steaks were not seasoned well. I can’t comment on the in restaurant experience, but we will not be doing take out from them again. There was no way to leave feedback online nor were we emailed for feedback.

I read several reviews before going to this restaurant— not one person lied about how great the food is!! Nothing disappointed!! The rolls are as amazing as everyone states. The house salad was fresh! The Brussels Sprouts were my favorite!! The steak was cooked to perfection. I would have given this place five stars but service could use improvement 🫤I’ll just say I’ve had better servers in other places…

This has been my 4th time eating at salt grass but first time eating in. My fiance and I decided to do lunch here and we weren't not disappointed the service was great our sever was attentive. The only cons I can say is the drinks my fiance ordered sweet tea which wasn't good at all and I had strawberry lemonade which also was not good. The food itself I had the chicken fried chicken and she had the ribs and it was really good the mashed potatoes were seasoned well and the food was hot. They give you a lot of food for the lunch menu and the price wasn't bad we spent together including drinks around $20 each. We will be back!

My sister and I went there on a Wednesday around 6:00 p.m. . My steak was raw, The baked potato was so cold that it would not melt the butter, it had very little butter and sour cream on it. Also I would like to add that they were out of rolls most of our entire meal. I think they're twice and both times the service was terrible. I used to wait tables so I'm not usually a complainer, as long as my drink stays full and I have what I need I really don't complain. My steak was brought to me, we waited for about 5 to 8 minutes and nobody came back to check on us so I finally set my sister up there to get the manager to come and get my steak because it was raw. I asked for a medium well it was just brown on both sides and blood was coming out of it. I just can't eat my steak that way. The manager was not very helpful. Finally when the manager did come to my table, the server brought us some rolls. I didn't eat half of my baked potato but it was really cold. Once I ate it then my steak came out. I did not complain about the baked potato that I just ate it because I really don't like to complain. But I just couldn't eat my steak with blood coming out, I also like to eat my steak with rolls and they were actually hot, since they were out of them with most of the evening that we were there.

My husband and I decided to dine in at saltgrass for a quick bite after running errands and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. John greeted us at the door and we ended up talking to him for 30 plus minutes. Great conversation! Jessica was our server and she provided amazing service and kept us laughing the entire meal. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. We’ll be back to see John and Jessica again.
