Customer Review Summary
Ruth's Chris Steak House is noted for its gorgeous ambiance and friendly staff. Most reviewers enjoyed the food, highlighting the tasty rib eye steak and excellent side dishes like mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The charcuterie board received praise, while the tuna did not appeal to everyone. Desserts had mixed reviews; the crème brûlée was loved, but the flourless chocolate cake was too sweet for some. Customer service was frequently described as outstanding and prompt, contributing to a well-received dining experience. However, there were concerns about consistency, with some reviewers reporting tough steaks and slow service during busy times, particularly on special occasions like Christmas Eve. While overall experiences varied, many indicated a willingness to return despite the occasional disappointment, citing high expectations given the restaurant's reputation and price. The general sentiment suggests Ruth's Chris is a fine dining option, but experiences can be hit or miss, particularly regarding steak quality and service efficiency.

Ruth Chris steak house Went for a friend’s 50th bday Place is very georgorous! Spacious and the staff is friendly. We had a buffet style appetizer- went for a plate but unfortunately there was dirty dishes under a couple so we immediately informed the waiter who took those plates away. Didn’t care for the tuna but then again not a fish eater so don’t take my word on it. Charcuterie board had some good cheese and fruit along with some salmon. We had caesar salad and house salad they were extremely tasty and well prepared. Next was the main course- rib eye steak cooked medium as I liked it. It was good but honestly I have had better at Longhorn steakhouse. The multiple sides were made very well done. It was a very good experience as well. The crem bule was terrific but did not care for the flowerless chocolate cake. Too sweet for my tastebuds. The hot pressed coffee was very good and definitely wanted with the desert. Bottom line- since this was a party of 50 - I definitely had worse experiences- it’s hard to cook steak for that many people and have a “wow” factor. This is Ruth Chris Steakhouse so I did expect the “wow” factor. This is a place that for my budget would be a one time experience but in this case I would like to go back and try at least once and see if that “wow” factor happens. For $100 per person, average per plate? Maybe not. 🤷🏻♂️

I was there for my birthday and I had a great experience. Food was good and the service was outstanding. The Mac n cheese and mashed potato surprised me! They were really really good!

I really like this steakhouse for many reasons. Steak tender and taste is amazing. Menu has a wide variety, and the service is impeccable. Finally found a really nice place to dine with my lady and close family. If your a crab cake fan by all means slide your fork down a mountain of great crab Ingenuity I promise you will not be disappointed.

Each time we've been to Ruth's Chris it was been a fabulous experience. The service is amazing. Friendly, prompt and knowledgeable, not to mention the food comes out very quick. The atmosphere is always calm, quiet and intimate. The food is outstanding- not a single complaint. We've had the porterhouse for two, ribeyes, garlic mash, creamed spinach, lyonnaise, osso bucco ravioli and banana foster. Everything was amazing and piping hot. I would definitely recommend Ruth's Chris if it's within your budget.

Incredible accommodating service and excellent dishes. Filet was perfectly cooked and the side dishes were delicious (Lobster Mac&Cheese, Mashed Potatoes and Fried Rice)

We go to Ruth's a good bit. We started also going on Xmas eve as of 2023. Last year was great. This year was not so great. Our service was so incredibly slow. We ordered oysters and crab beignets. We got our oysters quickly, but they were not that great. I was unimpressed and I have had blue points numerous times - one of my favorites. Our beignets didn't come until after our entree. This was very disappointing because the reason we got them is for those who didn't eat oysters. At least we were not charged for those. One of our steaks wasn't medium rare so it had to be sent back. This meant one person in our party didn't have anything to eat except her cold mashed potatoes. By the time her steak came, everyone else was finished with their meal. We were there for 2 hrs and 15 min. It took at least 15-20 min just to get our desserts (to go) and the check. The waiter refilled a sprite with water. It was just so incredibly disappointing. Definitely will have to pick another place now for Christmas Eve.

My past two visits have been disappointing. For what is advertised as PRIME BEEF, I found it chewy/tough to eat. VERY DISAPPOINTING, considering the cost of the meal. I've had OUTBACK that was much better. I'll give them one last try before writing them off my list as places to go for an enjoyable steak/meal. The cost/benefit ratio is very POOR!
