Chain restaurant serving steaks, seafood & cocktails in an upscale lodgelike setting.
Customer Review Summary
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill offers a nice ambiance and welcoming staff, making it suitable for casual dining and celebrations. However, experiences vary significantly; some patrons encountered long wait times and food quality issues, particularly with lukewarm and improperly cooked dishes. Service is generally seen as professional, but at times can be overwhelmed, affecting the overall dining experience. While some menu items like the ribeye and cheesesteak egg rolls receive praise, others, such as the burgers and desserts, fall short of expectations. The restaurant maintains a fair value given its atmosphere and service, though customers have mixed feelings about the food quality relative to the prices. Overall, it shows potential for great dining but has inconsistency that might deter repeat visits for some diners.

My family and I went to dinner here for my mother’s 85th birthday. We were seated at 6:10 and did not get our dinner until 7:55. When food arrived my mother’s food was cold. My father’s steak was half burnt. My salmon was like warm and my roasted carrots has just come out of refrigerator and had cheese and nuts added on top. For the price of this meal this was awful. Four people for dinner $188.30. I did not bother to send any food back because with the length it took to get our dinner. The kitchen staff were totally unorganized and there was no one to check temperature and plates of food before they were served. Our waiter was overwhelmed and could not keep up with his tables to service them. I have eaten at this chain before in different locations and they all were great. This one showed no organization on a busy Friday evening. I will not be returning to this location. For the quality of the food the prices were way too much. My father said he had eaten better quality steak at Golden Corral.

Nice warm fireplace added a cozy touch. Michael our server was amazing. The ribeye was perfection. Cheese steak egg rolls were a good starter for two. The Tomahawk pork chop was great and Parmesan mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. The southeast au gratin potatoes were also tasty. The Ranch dressing is amazing. Lots of choices. Stocked bar. I will be back to try more menu items.

Overall Rating: 4.9/10 A restaurant aiming for a fine dining experience with a spacious, fancy ambiance enhanced by the inviting scent of firewood smoke, though the food quality in some areas did not fully meet expectations. Atmosphere: 6.5/10 The establishment presents itself with a fine dining ambiance, accentuated by a spacious interior and a welcoming firewood smoke aroma from outside. The professional demeanor of the staff and the clean environment contribute positively to the dining experience. Service: 6.1/10 The service was proficient with staff appearing professional and well-dressed. Food was delivered timely, and the overall cleanliness was maintained throughout the dining area, ensuring a pleasant visit. Food: Cheeseburger: 3.9/10 While the burger was decent, it fell short of expectations, particularly for a place with a fine dining ambiance. Issues such as the use of watered-down shredded iceberg lettuce detracted from the burger's overall appeal, and the patty was undercooked despite requesting medium. The accompanying steak fries were just okay, though the tater tots were noted to be perfectly cooked. Value: 5.9/10 The pricing was deemed fair for the overall dining experience provided, aligning well with the ambiance and service level, even though the food did not entirely impress.
Business AsUsual
This was my first visit and it was a good visit. It was a birthday celebration. The steaks were perfectly cooked, medium rare and well done. The baked potato was good, and the scalloped cheesy potatoes were extremely cheesy. My server was new but very attentive and knowledgeable, l think her name was Melat. The cheesesteak eggrolls were incredible but the chocolate chip cookie was horrible and not worth $2.99 and the crem Brule cheesecake was mid at best. But it was a great dinner and l will go back

Edit: Management contacted us so we decided to go back for lunch to give Firebirds another try since we were so impressed by the food. We didn’t make reservations ahead of time since we didn’t want special service to change our review. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, our waitress was prompt and the food was fantastic. We live in the Caribbean so we prefer a relaxed atmosphere and we found the lunch time hour is less crowded and more pleasant. We would definitely return and would recommend. We asked to sit outside and it took 20 mins for someone to ask for our drink order. Our deviled egg appetizer arrived, but we didn’t have any cutlery or plates. The server who was bringing the cutlery and plates made it a priority to refill the water glasses to the table next to us even though they were done eating before giving us the plates and cutlery. We didn’t receive the complimentary bread, but did see other tables receive it. Our simple request to not have blue cheese on our salads and to bring extra dressing was ignored. The food didn’t come out all together and it took even longer to have our salad brought out. The food was excellent, but the lack of professional service would keep us from coming back.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the food. We had a great time celebrating her 40th Birthday and will definitely be back soon!

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Mashed potatoes were so good. Our server was awesome, drinks and bread stayed filled and she was attentive without being intrusive. Wait was a little too long for the entrees, but was still the best restaurant meal I’ve had in a long while. I wish I knew my server’s name, so I could give a shoutout.
