It was my first time eating at Chris's. I was there with a childhood friend who was celebrating with their friends' birthday. I had the blackened salmon, double baked potato with a super salad. It was delicious. I will come again with friends. I had a wonderful time.

We held off on leaving a review after our first experience, but unfortunately the second was less enjoyable than the first. The food is okay as in decent but nothing special to write home about. The negative part for us is really the service. We had a young server on our first visit who was very pleasant but seemed new. On our second visit, we brought along another couple and by the end of the meal we were embarrassed to have recommended the restaurant in the first place. Our server, Deborah, was not rude, but seemed either new or just very unaware and untrained. She was not familiar with the menu or the bar options, and made an inappropriate comment about the number of drinks our table had ordered. We ordered a coffee with dessert, and while the desert took a while to come out she brought the coffee after we had finished eating. We told her we no longer wanted the coffee, as at restaurants with proper decorum coffee ordered with dessert comes at the same time. She tried to force us to keep it (not about the money but the principle) after we told her we no longer wanted it and why, and she tried to tell us it was already here so we may as well take it. Once we went to pay the bill, their card readers are unable to accept thicker cards and was given a firm “no” with no attempt to enter the card information manually. Whether this is restaurant policy or yet another example of her lack of ability I don’t know, but unfortunately, that in addition to her very dry attitude are the reason we won’t be back.

-hostess said 15 min wait & to sit at bar -bartenders were not getting along, it sounded like 1 had made a significant sanitary mistake & the other 2 had to take care of it. -50 min goes by & my husband goes to check with the hostess, owner was there & asked if we had been waiting long, hostess interrupted to say “they’ve only been here a couple minutes” which we responded no we’ve been here 50, & pointed at our name clearly at the bottom at the list. We continue to wait and after a full hour & then some, we are seated. -cheez whiz -steak knife was actually filthy, visible grum on it. - ordered soup and a salad was given - the 4 tables around us, seated AFTER us all received their entrees 30 minutes before ours -when our entries arrived they were scalding hot, this was well over and hour after being seated, - when I cut into my *Medium filet it is was rare, I mean just straight blood. We sent it back but at this point had already been in the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours, so we just shared 1 entree. -the hostess continued to walk by & told us to make sure we let the owner know how good everything was, and asked us in a very odd way if it was worth the wait,,, - I have never been so close to walking out of a restaurant before, there was no attempt to comp us for any of the meal. Every aspect of the dining experience was tainted in some way. Whether it was the customer service, the food itself, or the cutlery we ate it with.

Outstanding Service by Josh! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tonight at Christ Steak House, celebrating my husband's birthday, we had the pleasure of being served by Josh, and honestly, his service was the highlight of our evening! The food was delicious, no doubt, but Josh’s energy, humor, and attentive service truly made the experience unforgettable. We found ourselves laughing and genuinely enjoying his company almost as much as the meal itself. It’s not often you get both great food and an excellent server who adds so much to the ambiance. Josh, you made our night—thank you for the fantastic service, the jokes, and for going above and beyond. We'll definitely be back, and we’ll be sure to ask for you next time! Way to go, Josh!

I’ve dined here twice & both times have been amazing. The service is always quick & the staff is so polite & attentive. The food is awesome. They start you off w/ crackers & a tasty cheez whiz. They offer either a soup or house salad prior to getting your main dish. I got a Top Sirloin w/ a baked sweet potato. So flavorful! The dinner rolls are also amazing (important…lol). The atmosphere is very nice. Each table is set with a white tablecloth & the decorations are beautiful.

First visit, we recieved a plate that look like butter and crackers in plastic. We asked what is that and was explained that it is there home made cheese. Later we received two dinner rolls and frozen butter. It would have been nice to ask if we have been here before. The waitress was nice. The steak was good but not special.

The husband and I spent our 17th yr anniversary here and were incredibly impressed with everything. The steak was unbelievable! We asked for it to be seasoned and add caramelized onions. The cheddar broccoli soup was savory, stuffed mushrooms were flavorful and filling. The ambiance of the lighting and music were great for a night out without the kids esp since we went around Christmas so we had even more decor to enjoy. Highly recommended for any occasion.

We were a party of four. It took at least 20 minutes before water arrived. Food is s l o w (think 40 minutes). When The food arrived. It was not hot, my steak was not cooked to request, and some of the side dishes never arrived. Staff not very friendly. The restaurant (not bar) area has the decor and atmosphere of a retirement home. Overpriced. Save your $ Go to Long Horn Steak House!
