Sullivan's Steakhouse

2/8/2025 This was my first visit and the person that accompanied me told me it was her favorite place to go quality food and great service. I will say the food was quality and pricey. The service was slow for a 7 pm reservation we waited about 10 minutes for seating the place was not full by no means. The bisque was very good. The rating reflects the service. At the end of the night before dessert was served the waitress brought the check and did a check in on the table. As a person in my party was about to state that the service was a little slow tonight and we are waiting on desserts - the waitress said we had received everything we asked for and had no room to complain. This took us all by surprise! We were not complaining and was about to give her a compliment. At this price point for dinner I truly expect professionalism. She had none. Being a newly relocated person from the DC area I truly expected more. I try to give everyone benefit of doubt, however when confronted by a manager the waitress denied the remark of 4 paying customers. Poor service leaves a bad taste in anyone mouth. I do not think I will be returning. The valet parking was great and he received an appropriate tip!

We had the tomahawk steak, asparagus risotto, macaroni and cheese, crab fried rice and brussel sprouts. Can’t wait to go back again.

Overall, it was an okay experience. We went on Christmas Day so it is difficult to compare the quality. They were super busy and ran out of 2 appetizers that we wanted so that was disappointing. Vibe was a typical old school steakhouse that feels like you are in your grandparents living room but it was cozy. Food took awhile to come out (due to the holiday I'm sure) but the server was super nice and felt for her bc it was super busy. Food was good tho! We ate the Brick Chicken and the Chilean Sea Bass. Wish the menu had a little more variety like a pasta or a hamburger but again it's a steakhouse so Steak may be the best bet! Wine selection was plenty with some good options. Parking was validated in valet or parking garage for up to 2 hours so that was nice! Overall, I would recommend because it's clean, service was good, Food was reliably good and quality of food is high! Make a reservation and be ready to pay $$$

Great food, service, and atmosphere. My bartender (Missy) was friendly, attentive, and entertaining. I was there for happy hour and had the Angry Shrimp and the King Crab and Goat Cheese Salad. Great way to spend a rainy Monday afternoon.

I dined here a few days ago. Great atmosphere and good service. The food is absolutely delicious. I gave it 4 stars because it took almost 90 mins before our food came out. Otherwise, my experience was great!

Very average experience for a high cost 👎🏻 The service was terrible. Our waitress took forever to come see us for the first time, when she finally came to introduce herself we had already decided everything we wanted. She then brought the drinks but no bread service, I had to request the bread service. It took forever to get our waters refilled. When we finally got our steaks, no steak knifes…so again we had to request something obvious. For the appetizer we got the cheesesteak egg rolls, which was good. I got the NY strip and my husband got the ribeye, and for the side we ordered the potatoes au gratin. Steak was very average and the side was good. I expected more from the steak considering the price. I will definitely not be going back!

Could this be the best burger in Charlotte? Wow I did not expect this. Good lord their burger is fantastic. I don't think I've ever had a burger like this. Burger (medium) - 10/10 Fries - 9/10 Delivery - 10/10 Price - 7/10 Will I order again? Yes!

Darryl was fantastic, he read over our menu options and took amazing care of us. This was our first time at sullivans and we will definitely be back. From the derive to the food everything was great.
