The Capital Grille

My husband and I attended a dinner party. The service was great! I had the Roasted Chicken Breast..it was the worst I had ever had. The top crust was hard on top and the sauce on the chicken was terrible… the lobster macaroni tasted scorched in the bottom..one person at my table stated it wasn’t the same as before when they visited. The steak was supposed to be medium well…as you can see it’s over cooked. The Salmon was good. The creamed potatoes were very good. I will never personally visit Capital Grille again.

Went here for a birthday dinner. The ambiance and lighting of this restaurant are done very well. The waiter was very swift with his attentiveness and knowledge of informing us about certain dishes. I went with the roasted chicken w/ risotto. Chicken was perfect, and so was the risotto, it just lacked a bit of seasoning for me. The lamp chops were divine. Also tried creamed spinach, and it was absolutely fantastic. Calamari and truffle fries were top-notch as well. They nailed it. Well capital grille of Charlotte.

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday, it was a very intimate and warm setting. They had a kids menu and crayons for my 6 year old. The drinks were delicious & the food was amazing. My boyfriend’s bone in rib eye was cooked to perfection and my lobster steak was so tender and delicious. The tenders & fries were a generous portion for my toddler.

We enjoyed our first visit! The food was delicious and well prepared. Mario was an outstanding waiter by always bringing things without us ever having to ask. The chicken was tender and flavorful. We will definitely return soon!

We celebrated our anniversary here. They were able to accommodate us last minute. The food is amazing. My husband and I come here often. Highly recommend.

Delicious food! Everything is good quality. I usually get the salmon with parmesean truffle fries and caesar salad. Even the simple things like the bread and water are top notch. Definitely one of my favorite fine dining places.

Staff were attentive. Food was amazing. Will definitely go back. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. The Sam's mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts were stellar.

Had a surprise mommy daughter date with my teen and we loved everything about our dining experience. The menu was very clear our server Cameron was extremely knowledgeable about the items and patient while my teen decided what she wanted lol. She was very attentive to us and our needs without being too over bearing, and never once did i need to look for her for something. She anticipated and explained everything. I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out perfect. My daughter was unsure how poached lobster would taste but said that it was really tasty and she thoroughly enjoyed her tenderloin. The Brussel sprouts had a nice crunch here and there with a little sweetness. I loved them. I do have one gripe, she told me their mashed potatoes were better than mine lol so I told her I was gonna find me a new kid since she's now a traitor lol lol. The calamari was some of the most flavorful we've had in a long time, def a favorite of the evening. The drinks were not watered down which I fully appreciate. We were so full we didn't try any desserts.... maybe next time. Parking in the garage was a tad difficult to find at first, but then again all driving in uptown can be a little intimidating at times with the constant one ways and no turns. The restaurant also validates parking in the garage so that was a lovely plus. Bathrooms were clean and well lit and there is also a full length mirror (perfect for those pictures ladies). I was most pleasantly caught off guard by the toilet paper lol sorry but not sorry.... IT WAS SO SOFT, kinda like the kind you use at home. The atmosphere was very romantic and chill. Would definitely return.
