Customer Review Summary

Rios Brazilian Steakhouse has received mixed reviews from customers. Many praised the service as exceptional, with staff being accommodating and attentive. Food quality was highlighted positively, particularly the flavorful meats and salad bar, especially in locations like Myrtle Beach. However, some guests experienced issues with seating arrangements, service delays, and the quality of certain meats being too rare or overcooked. The ambiance also drew criticism for being overly dark and cramped in some locations. Several customers expressed disappointment with specific visits, citing inexperienced servers and long wait times despite reservations. Overall, while some patrons loved their experience and recommended the restaurant, others found it lacking compared to competitors like Chima Steakhouse.

We went here for the Queen's Fest Restaurant Week. Service was wonderful. The manager checked in with us halfway through our meal and since dessert was included but we were full, he said we could get it to go. We ended up eating it there anyway but it was a nice gesture he made. They were very accommodating and I felt like royalty being served so well! Now let's get to the food: flavorful, flavorful, and flavorful. It was so delicious, from the salad bar to the meats being perfectly seasoned. Everything was top notch! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!! The atmosphere was inviting and it was great experience. Highly recommend!!!

We went to the one in Myrtle Beach SC. Wonderful experience. We went with a group of around 50 individuals for a group dinner. Excellent service and plenty of room to accommodate a group our size. Food is excellent and service exceptional. We had a gentleman from Jamaica, Fabian, who went above and beyond. Easily one of the best servers I have experienced in quite some time. Highly recommend and look forward to returning. Just make sure you are hungry when you arrive as the selection is vast!

Packed like sardines in the lobby. We got sat next to the bathroom which would be fine but they kept forgetting to come to our table. The meat was mostly rare, with one or 2 pieces being raw. My husband enjoys his medium rare and much of it was too rare for him. We love the rios in myrtle Beach so it's not the company. This location is too small and they can't keep up with the volume.

I had high expectations since I live nearby. I usually go to Chima Steakhouse in Uptown, but I decided to try this place since it was closer. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. First, the ambiance was extremely dark—so much so that I could barely read half of the drinks menu. The manager never came by to check on our table, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Our server, a young lady, seemed inexperienced and lacked proper training. I waited nearly 15 minutes before she returned to check on us for dessert, and I eventually had to get up from my table just to place an order. As for the food, the quality of the meat was underwhelming. The lamb was the only standout, but the rest of the meats were mediocre. The buffet salads were unimpressive, especially compared to Chima Steakhouse. For $60 per person, the food and service should be excellent—but they were far from it. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Tried to reach out to corporate rather than social media, but to no avail no answer. We had a dining reservation for 8 pm. We did not get seated until 8:15 pm(understand that we added another seat). Then our server arrived Christian. He was probably one of the worst servers we have ever had. He initially greeted us, and I asked him if you had an espresso martini. He said he was unsure, but would find out. The rest of the table ordered waters and it took about 10 minutes for those to show. We received steaks at the table before waters showed up. We then asked for 4 wine glasses for the bottle of red that was on the table. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes before those showed up by another gentleman. The server also looked at the bottle of wine 3 times. Every time the waiter looked at us, he looked extremely confused. We had to ask for refills on water. Food was good. One of the steaks was extra salty. The pineapple was delicious. Food on the buffet did need to be replenished and needed overall tending too. When it was time for dessert, that was probably the fastest part of the service. However he brought 4 boxes without a bag, and no offer of a bag as well. My table and i asked for checks and he looked extremely puzzled. Overall, we were not overly impressed. As a person who has been to multiple Brazilian restaurants, this one is decent, but not my first choice.

The wait after having a reservation is insane. The hostess had no clue how to direct the line and people were showing up 15 mins after their time being sat in front of us.most restaurants cancel reservations after 10 mins this place did not. It was small and the manager never asked anyone to get up. I was going back and forth with a man who came in after me and out his name down, he went back to his car n then when him n his girl came in all she did was complain n wanted to be sat in front of me because his reservation was 30 mins before but he was not in line . When I say never again, this location is a no. Food was ok but the salmon was dry and then the servers start to skip your table if you tell them no twice , mind you, you have to have the card for meat turned upward on the table and they still will walk past you. Never again. It ruined my entire Valentine’s Day, and I saved my entire appetite to eat here.

Absolutely enjoyed this place. The food was great and the service was amazing. The place was a tad small and there were people waiting for a table but that just speaks as to how good it was. We’ll definitely be back.

Incredible experience at Rio’s Brazilian Steakhouse! Impeccable service, perfectly cooked and delicious meats, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. A true taste of Brazil in the United States. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
