Oak Steakhouse

I recently visited Oak Steakhouse (Restaurant Week) to celebrate a big milestone birthday for my sister, and while it wasn’t a bad experience , it didn’t quite live up to expectations , especially given the occasion and the price point . The restaurant wasn’t busy , which initially gave us hope for prompt service. However, there was an unexpectedly long wait to receive our food, even though the dining room had plenty of open tables.Unfortunately , we noticed our meals sitting before they were brought out, resulting in food that was great in flavor but not hot. Service was just okay——not particularly attentive or memorable. For such an important celebration ,we hoped for more effort or acknowledgment , but it felt like just another ordinary evening .Compared to other steakhouses in the area . Oak steakhouse fell short in creating a special premium dining experience. While the food quality was commendable, the overall service and timing left room for improvement.For the price and occasion; I’ve had better experiences elsewhere. This visit was simply average, and I’m not sure it’s a place I’d choose again for a special event.

I went here for a work event, so can't talk about prices. But I can talk about that steak. Oh my god that was amazing. The drinks menu had some interesting cocktails that I'll definitely plan to come back for. The atmosphere is very high end. Low lights for a good feeling of privacy. Great overall!

We experienced a wonderful dinner for my party of 12 as we celebrated my mother’s 71st birthday. Our waiter Kevin was very attentive and very kind. The manager Kenneth came by to wish my mom a happy birthday and even gave her a wrapped gift of chocolates. The manager printed a custom menu for our table that included my mom’s birthday; it was such a small gesture that meant so much. Overall Great customer service. Food was delicious and the restaurant was a whole vibe. This was a memorable dinner for our party. Thank you for a great night. We will be back and we certainly will tell others to celebrate here as well.

Everything from the personalized birthday card to the " Try these on us" and " For the birthday boy" accompaniments was outstanding. We ordered a little bit of everything, and was set out perfectly. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the duck breast a perfect medium rare. The oysters were delicious the shishito peppers are a MUST! Shrimp cocktail was chlles and fresh. The cheesy type potatoes are also a must! They made the birthday spectacular! Went above and beyond! Now we will frequent this place for just casual date nights, or nights out! Please, if you're in CLT stop by. The establishment is very beautiful and throughout inside.

The reason the food did not receive 5 stars is that every steak at our table was under-cooked according to each diners request. The Brussels were overdone and meat under seasoned. The Au Poivre sauce had no peppercorns nor flavor of pepper or cognac. I am happy to pay the money for this type of dining experience, but expect way more from the chef.

I loved the whole experience!! I made reservations for my birthday weekend & they surprised me with a gift!! I was so shocked and loved the gift! I’ve already recommended this place to so many friends because of the great hospitality!! Thank you again Oak staff for making my day special ❤️

My bestie and I enjoyed our bestie Monthly Meet Up at Oak Steakhouse. We took advantage of the restaurant week menu. I ordered the oyster Rockefeller, Catch of the day which was swordfish, and a chocolate tart. My friend ordered the oyster Rockefeller, curry chicken and mango sorbet. If you order the fish make sure to them to sear it longer than normal. I almost forgot I had the wagyu old fashion and that was on point. We definitely go back outside of restaurant week and more than likely sit at the bar.

We had an awesome night. Debbie our waitress was awesome, so kind, so nice. My goodness the kitchen did an awesome job with the food it was nothing that came to the table we did not enjoy, the drinks were good as well. The ambience was perfect for the occasion. I really enjoyed every minute
