This is one of my favorite places to dine in Charlotte. - Valet - ADA compliant - Live music - Upscale but kid friendly Whether you want to grab small bites at happy hour or share a multi course meal with loved ones the menus are top tier. If you aren’t a fan of live music cover bands maybe opt for the dining room to minimize the volume. The drinks are beautiful and strong. Steaks are always cooked to perfection just like the Mac and cheese. I enjoy the seafood the crab cakes are huge and the lobster bisque is nice decadent treat.

We recently tried Eddie V's Prime Seafood for a few reasons, one we see the restaurant all the time when we're in downtown Charlotte and the second is it's was my daughter's birthday and she is all things jazz and great food. So I checked out the reviews which were great, made a reservation and even called the restaurant to ask a few questions because I didn't want there to be any issues with the reservation. The hostess who answered the phone was very nice, professional and courteous and she made sure that we got the seats we wanted. She explained how the restaurant is set up and the how seating works. When the night of our reservations comes, we're definitely excited and my daughter has not idea that we're going to a restaurant that plays jazz. We were quickly greeted and seated within a matter of moments and the seat had a perfect view of the band just as i requested. Now, unfortunately this is where things go downhill and it's because of our server. I won't mention her name out of respect, what I will say is that she was slow to check on us, keep us updated and we didn't see her that often even though we were at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours. She was polite, professional and courteous but being absent was bad. I will say if we weren't enjoying the music from the band, we probably would've left. With that being said, the appetizer of Calamari was delicious. As a matter of fact, all of the food we ordered met our expectations and to point out some of the highlights. The 10 oz Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection, the truffle macaroni and cheese was some of the best I've ever had, the mashed potatoes were creamy, very well seasoned, delicious. My wife had the Maine Lobster Tacos and absolutely loved them. The band was great and played many popular songs and they took requests as well. They played four songs for my daughter after she requested and they were definitely one of the highlight of the evening. Overall, we had a wonderful time, the food was exceptional and the only we could've ask for was for the service to be better. My daughter, took it all in stride and didn't let the slow service bring her down.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at the Charlotte location and I must say the service was excellent. Our server Riley was amazing. 10/10 service. Top tier. She ensured we were comfortable. She also checked on us every few minutes and met every request. The live band was amazing. Made the dinner even better. The spinach was just right. The lamb chops were delectable, tasty. The drinks were not too much that they took away from the taste of the food. We are planning on returning.

I'm a big fan of the service and professionalism at Eddie V’s, that's why I chose the restaurant for my 50th birthday celebration. They worked with my friend, Liz to curate an incredible experience (shoutout to Devon). The life music is always great, and our server was amazing! I felt very special! Thank you!

My friend reserved a table for 5 for 6pm in celebration of her birthday last Saturday. We weren't seated until 7:21 once a table became available (again, we had a reservation). Our waiter James was super sweet, knowledgeable about the menu and quite pleasant to speak with. Our food came out super fast and was so delicious. I ordered salmon, lobster mashed potatoes and carrots with yogurt. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was festive bc of the holidays and the room was filled with lots of happy lively faces. There was a band playing several recognizable tunes and ppl were singing along out loud...cool vibe. The dress code was "ify" as we saw everything from formal, semi formal and Nike slides with socks/sweatpants...a category of its own. My bill was 121, that includes gratuity and a pomegranate mule that was amazing!! This place is definitely a must!

The combination of these elements creates an unforgettable experience, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The live bands bring an electric energy that resonates with the crowd. The drink menu is carefully curated, featuring unique cocktails and local brews that cater to all tastes. As patrons mingle and enjoy their drinks, the vibe becomes increasingly lively. New friendships are formed. As the evening winds down, guests leave with smiles, promising to return. The venue becomes a beloved staple in the neighborhood, where memories are made and stories are shared long after the last note has played.

This was an excellent experience and everything that you would expect for an Eddie V location. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. I sat at the bar for dinner and the three bartenders were absolutely amazing and friendly, and the service was excellent and above expectations. They have an extensive wine menu and a full bar. I had the ribeye with the blue cheese topping and it was tasty and delicious throughout each bite. I also had the truffle macaroni and cheese, which I highly recommend as it is unique and delicious and delightful. I finished with an espresso martini for dessert and it was divine. This was located centrally in the downtown area and right across the street from the Marriott that I was staying at. They had live music which was fantastic and made it a lively atmosphere . I highly recommend and would return.
