Chima Steakhouse in Charlotte, NC, offers a fantastic dining experience, especially for special occasions like my friend's birthday celebration. The $15 valet parking for 3 hours is a convenient touch, making arrival stress-free. From the moment we stepped in, the service was attentive, and the endless rotation of perfectly cooked meats ensured no one left hungry. The food bar had a great selection, complementing the rich flavors of the meats. Whether you're a steak lover or just looking for a lively dining atmosphere with friends, Chima is worth the visit!

First time in restaurant. We arrived on time and were seated promptly. We were seated upstairs. Food was great, service was great as well. Our waiter was attentive, always checking up on us. Everything was good, I just wish the buffet had more selections. Make sure you come here on an empty stomach, lol. The grilled pineapple was my favorite. Overall, lovely experience.

Great food and atmosphere. Had a lovely dinner there last week. I ate too much which is my fault but that just tells you how good the food is. Price is a little high but definitely worth it for special occasions.

Wonderful experience and restaurant overall. The service here is too notch. The meats good quality with excellent flavor profiles. Some cuts were a touch too salty, yet still very good. The salad bar could be improved with some more fresh fruits and a wider selection of cheese and a couple more soups. That said, all the items on the salad bar were all excellent quality just like the table side meats. Overall Eeyroe says 4 tail wags and a worthy experience.

Superb experience. We will definitely be back. The staff was amazing too. We loved all of the options. Blake was our server. He was great!! Answered all of our questions. Extremely personable. The manager, he told us he was from Egypt. (I forget his name) he was very kind and checked up on us a few times

The food was amazing and our waiter Jacob H was fabulous throughout the entire experience! He advised wine and made sure we got the options we wanted to our table as soon as they were available!

My boyfriend and I came here for Valentines Day. The food was amazing, the ambiance was simply okay, but the service was HORRIBLE. We waited about 8 minutes to be served before we just decided to go to the buffet. When we returned to our table, we realized that our server has stopped by while we were gone then returned about 15 minutes later which we got a chance to receive a super quick introduction and asked all of the questions we had about the Valentines Day Menu- which was not advertised upon booking. Despite our servers bad customer service thus far, we chopped it up as she was just super busy. I’m a bottle waitress so I understand how busy it can be, definitely on a holiday. However, another couple was seated directly beside us and we couldn’t help but to notice how attentive and responsive she was to this specific couple. We overheard her nice introduction, her rundown on the menu, and essentially great customer service that we did not receive…. meanwhile we had to wait almost 30 minutes for a water refill and watched her walk past our table plenty of times. Not to mention- our sides came out super late we were almost done with dinner at that point. We go out to steakhouses and high end restaurants all the time and the service we received at Chimas was by far the worst. It was almost as if our server was avoiding us the entire night. When we come to these fancy places, paying over $200 for dinner, we expect the service to be amazing but it simply was not. We will not be returning back.

Excellence and elegance in one. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere classy, lively and inviting. The service was top notch, involved, but not overbearing. We wanted for naught and left raving about the enjoyable experience we had. My favorite was the filet mignon, and the grilled pineapple. The mash potatoes were soooo cheesy and really wonderful. For dessert I had the passion fruit creme brulee. My companions had the cheesecake. Both were a delight.
