We stayed here last year and I remember it being cleaner and really nice. This year the room was run down and not clean. There were long black hairs on both beds. There was hair (the short curly kind) and debris on the bathroom floor and a bar of used soap left in the shower. The one comforter had visible stains, so we chose to sleep in the other bed, only to find in the morning that we had slept with what looked like pee stains right at our face. I almost threw up. Luckily we only had a one night stay here. The breakfast is amazing and the staff in the dining room is lovely. That’s what brought us back, but I’m not so sure about staying again.

My organization recently used The Century House for a social event for about ~80 people. We were given about 10 days notice to plan the event. Marge at The Century House was extremely responsive and available to answer questions and help customize the group package to fit our needs. It was so easy to work with her and she really accommodated the time crunch we were under. The event itself was beautiful. The room was set up to meet our needs. The appetizers were delicious, the food was beautifully displayed, and every one loved the hors d'oeuvres. We had 2 stations; build your own macaroni and cheese and a pulled meat station. The quality of the food was fantastic. The servers were fast and friendly. The bar tender was very quick and accommodating. I highly recommend them for events, we will be back!

The best prime rib (and French onion soup) I've ever had and I've traveled all over the world. Also the stuffed shrimp tastes amazing. Service is impeccable. Great value. Warm and cozy vibe. I look forward to going a few times a month.

Absolutely perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and whole experience as the staff were all super friendly and easy going! We made some really awesome new friends and will be back again! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as far as the hotel goes and the food at the restaurant and the atmosphere at the bar area was superb! The bartender and his wife were some of the best we have ever seen, serving multiple tables and full bar all with a smile on their faces and they actually took the time to get to know everyone and share stories and laughs! Awesome job to all of the staff at the Century House!! The location is super close to Saratoga/ SPAC without the high end Saratoga pricing, but trust me the grounds, pool area, inside and outside of hotel were spotless and everything was super clean. The full breakfast was the icing on the cake and the weddings were abundant, filling the air with love and happiness throughout the whole building, couldn’t say more good things about our stay!

Prime rib was very tender. A little overcooked for what I ordered (MR), but I know it's slow roasted and can't be uncooked. Green beans were perfectly cooked. Salad was a little rusty, but not inedible. Great homemade dessert choices Service was ok. The server forgot about my entree after he served my salad, but thankfully prime rib doesn't take long to send out. The experience took a bit longer than I would have expected. Staff was friendly and it seems they have many regular guests. Slightly odd, but it is what it is, there were no refills on the unsweetened iced tea.

While my wife and I are visiting the area, we dined in at the Century House on Prime Rib Wednesday. We have zero regrets, and will certainly return again. From the atmosphere, phenomenal service ( shout out to our server, Steven he was awesome), and amazing food it did not disappoint. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and the 14 oz prime rib with mashed potatoes save carrots, the cheeseburger and French fries They have Prime Rib Wednesday, date night Saturday and the list goes on.
