Dove + Deer

We stopped by Dove + Deer for dinner on a weeknight. The place has a nice, casual vibe, with a large bar area, and a place to play darts. The food was excellent, and I enjoyed the salmon, stuffed mushrooms, truffle parm fries, and tiramisu. The service was quite good as well. All in all, this is another excellent option to explore if you are in the Albany area.

I must say that we always have the most amazing time at Dove + Deer 🕊️🦌 !!! The food is delicious, the staff are extremely pleasant and I recommend this place to everyone in the City. It’s cozy, relaxed, smooth tunes, and they have the most amazing décor. My family and I go whenever we’re in the area. ( So much warmth and welcome ❤️.) It’s truly an experience. Dove + Deer for the win every time !!!!

We had lunch here on a weekday, no crowd. Nice waitress, quick service. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. There were a lot of fries and they were VERY good!

Overall: service was slow, food was okay, drinks were good, and dessert was great. We had a nice date as the restaurant is beautiful but the experience was ultimately just okay. We weren’t expecting the bill to be cheap but it definitely felt a bit too expensive considering the quality and quantity of food. Maybe next time we’ll just sit at the bar and get drinks

Traveling yesterday from out of town and googled extensively where to eat. So glad we chose this place for dinner. The service was so friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered from the menu was so flavorful and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. Snapper and beet pasta were also incredible. Still thinking about all the flavors. The place could easily be pretentious, but it is not. You can sit down for a cozy dinner, then hang at the bar. Everything felt relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
