Polished, modern venue offering inventive American dishes with global flair & a classy cocktail bar.
Customer Review Summary
Tavern 180 receives mixed reviews. Breakfast offerings, particularly the Benedict, are praised for being delicious, despite some complaints about execution. Bloody Marys and the chocolate cake are highlights, but consistency in steak preparation has been an issue. The atmosphere is generally described as pleasant but not overly impressive, with some noting the dim lighting and beautiful bar. Service has been recognized positively overall, with attentive staff but some isolated incidents of indifference from bartenders. Food quality is inconsistent; while certain dishes like sea bass and seared ahi tuna are well-received, others fall flat. Pricing is noted as somewhat high for certain items, with criticisms on the value of side portions and "market prices" for steak. Despite some shortcomings, several reviewers state they would recommend Tavern 180 for special occasions or breakfast, but temper their expectations.

Holy breakfast mouth orgasm. The Benedict was absolutely delicious and a perfect amount of heaven in my mouth. Bloody Mary’s were a perfect blend to Start this morning and kickstart the day. Highly reccomend if you’re looking for a great breakfast to start your day.

Always amazing however this last time my steak came out mooing at me 🐮 I sent it back and it came out beef jerky (cooked way to quick at a high temp) I just let it be. BUT on a positive note the Espresso martini hits just right and let me tell ya… you NEED this chocolate cake in your life! The waitress we had and bartender were fantastic! I think the cook just needs a lesson on cooking a steak! 😘

Food was great, so was service. Atmosphere is dimly lit and bar is really pretty. Nothing was over the top or super stand-out about it to me. Brussel sprouts were superb!

Seated on the cafe side. It was a bit quieter for date night. The staff was attentive. Best creme Brulee Ive ever had!

1st time visiting. I loved the atmosphere. Some of the food was a bit pricey, although there were plenty of less expensive items to choose from. The Sea Bass and onion soup were excellent, as was their Old Fashions. The service was very good also.

Headed to Tavern 180 for breakfast the other morning and was not greatly impressed with the atmosphere but it was OK. The menu was sparse for breakfast tho- Also the bathrooms weren’t very clean but onto the food … Ordered the only eggs Benedict on the menu and the egg was hard and that’s a No No with an eggs Benedict. The eggs should be runny and but the hollandaise sauce was really good! The potatoes were hot and cooked great and the jalapeño bacon was a nice touch We shared the ice cream battered French toast but it’s really not battered with ice cream the server said so that was kind of weird but it wasn’t anything special. It was just French toast with whipped cream on it.

Went here for a few drinks for my Birthday. Bartenders were not sociable at all. Literally pouty faced the entire time. $9 seltzers for my wife which seems wild. Mule that tasted like pure lime juice. Get some better talent in there please!

I've visited Tavern 180 on three occasions now, and while it's an alright spot, it hasn't left a lasting impression. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I must say, the bar is visually appealing. The unique lighting structure and the frozen coaster section at the bar are quirky touches that add to the experience. When it comes to the food, it's been hit and miss for me. The seared ahi tuna was truly exceptional, although the portions left me wanting more, and the side salad was quite mundane. I suppose that's how they manage to charge just $19 for it. I opted for a side of risotto, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but the fact that only family-style sides are available for $7 felt a tad restrictive. I ordered the seafood bisque, and while it was beautifully presented with a puff pastry, there simply wasn't that much soup for a $15+ bowl. I also experienced their brunch offerings, which were on par with my expectations – decent, but not spectacular. Overall, my sentiment towards Tavern 180 is that it's just... alright. However, I do find some aspects of their pricing a bit tightfisted. Encountering a "market price" label for a steak struck me as unconventional; it's a term I'd typically associate with seafood, not steak. We celebrated a birthday here, and the free dessert was a thoughtful touch. In the end, I'd say Tavern 180 is good, though not exceptional.
