Great place to celebrate a birthday or pretty much anything! Besides tasty food you are also getting a cooking lesson and entertainment. Our chef Rick was not only a good cook but pretty funny. Who could ask for more?!?!

First time I went there ,the waitress was awesome ,this last time he wasn't not checking in and there was 2 birthdays and just wanted get us out .I had to talk to someone about the birthdays the drink I got was not like the first time the chefs are great. The food is great. Just a little bit better on the waiters. I wouldn't say all though((((( the picture were when I went there first time was great 2 nd time not great services))))

Went with my family( my second time) but they go often. Everything was delicious,service was excellent,our chef was amazing and very fun. My daughter who goes there often said it was the best service and experience she's ever had. My granddaughter said she loved the crunchy french fries ( fried calamari 🤣)

Visited for my birthday with friends and family and the visit was amazing I have not been in a couple years but it was exactly how I remembered it. The staff was very friendly the chef was attentive and very friendly as well. Left full and happy and they sang happy birthday definitely a 10 out of 10 visit I will be back soon. Thanks again for the hospitality!

The appetizers were absolutely phenomenal. The meat from the steak was tender and robust with flavor…the chicken was delicious! The absolute crown for this visit - that small bowl of soup you get when waiting for your main course. I could consume gallons of that at a time…I’ve never had soup so good. Definitely coming back!

Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice, the food was AMAZING and the servers were attentive and friendly. We ordered the Naughty Geisha and a beer; the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. fried rice with steak and shrimp as our entree. EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I’ll definitely be back and I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves a Hibachi restaurant. The only thing that I saw that was disappointing was the condition of the bathroom. The ladies room was nasty, funky and in need of a remodel/upgrade. Other than that it was a great experience.

Gengi is our favorite hibachi place in Omaha! (We’ve been to them all) phenomenal for birthdays, special occasions, or just because. This is the perfect restaurant with or without kids, it’s the perfect dining experience. We had Andre as our bartender for some pre dinner drinks, and he was welcoming, personable and friendly. Also the drinks were delicious and looked great. For dinner, our chef was Antonio and he was seriously awesome! He was welcoming to all guests, funny, entertaining and cooked our food perfectly. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable. We will definitely be back again and again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
